In the latest podcast about Bob Lazar, Logisti and Stephen brought up S-4.  Apparently this is a super-secret military base only a short bus-ride away from Area 51.  Not knowing too much about this place, and who does…I wanted to see what I could find out.  Well, like always, the Examiner paved my way to knowledge and enlightenment… Undecided

Michael Salla, Ph.D. deals with Exopolitics for the Examiner (I'll touch on that in a moment).  So, I guess he knows all about this place.  And apparently so does Dick Cheney.  Enjoy:

Ok…so…there you go.  An inside look at S-4.

Intrigued by Michael Salla's work, I began to look around at some of his other articles on the Examiner.  One about the current state of Exopolitics caught my eye.  We briefly talked about exopolitics in my thread "Denver Wants UFO Answers!"  This article deals with critics of exopolitics and the government's 50 year psychological warfare program against ufology:

So by this point, I'm sure you're thinking the same thing that I am…Wow, this Michael Salla Ph.D. guy really knows his stuff.  I was very intrigued.  I wanted to look at some other things that he was involved with.  I mean, how is he getting all this top notch information?

Here is a site that he created which I think may explain everything (Be sure to check the "ET Typology" section too):

http://galacticdiplomacy.com/

Ok then…I think, um…we learned all that we need to know about Michael Salla, Ph.D.

There are so many things that we can learn from all this that I'm not quite sure where to go with it.  I guess I'll just go with the tried and try "When dealing with new information, perhaps it is best to check out the source of that information."  I mean if you wish to have an intelligent discussion about the possibility of alien life within the universe, I'm cool with that.  Start throwing Reptilians, Draconians, Ummites, and Alpha Centurians at me…yeah…time for me to start asking if there is certain medication that you should be on and if there's a particular doctor that I should be calling…

Nice post.   I am very interested by this subject.

It would be great if the info on his website was true.  It would be almost as if the Stargate SG-1 was really going on.   Aliens and humans coming and going on a regular basis.

As I read his info on the different aliens I just wonder how many people had read that and beleive it?

PS:  I do see what you are saying about the Alpha Centaurians though…sneaky bastids…

I've found that being AWESOME is a full time job…

Revenant,

Interesting post.  I think you hit the nail on the head with your summation.   It is always best when presented with new information to check the source of your information.  In this day and age, it takes virtually no time so there is no excuse.  Thanks for your research.  When you find out the name of that medication, please share.  Wink

Yes, it's amazing how many aspects of ufology and science fiction are the same.  One has to wonder which came first?

Here's an example:

http://www.hinduwebsite.com/general/essays/ufo.asp

Read #3 (oddly, there are two #3's…the first one about bio-mechanical devices and biological creatures).  It talks of a giant living "being" capable of thought and traveling at the speed of light.  You mean…like Moya from Farscape?  Cool…always liked that show.

Alicat- Yes, when it comes to the paranormal, one must always check the source of the information.  I was raised in a time where "news" or an informative article was supposed to be unbiased.  Sadly, that is no longer the case with either major networks (like Aaron Brown from CNN…wow, what was with that guy?  Don't tell me how you "feel" about things Mr Reporter, just give me the facts.  Man, I hated that guy…) or many things found on the net.  But with the paranormal, it is especially bad.

When reading anything about the paranormal, I always ask myself why is the author writing this?  Is this simply an informative piece on the topic for the sake of knowledge and learning or…does the author have something to gain from it?  I find that typically the author of an article has some book and/or website that they are pushing as well.  The article simply reinforces their beliefs and supports what they are trying to sell.

For example, Michael Salla.  Is he writing the articles on the Examiner merely for everyone's benefit?  Or, is he simply supporting his books?  By his own website, it certainly seems like the latter.

By the way, if anyone knows of a good UFO website, one in which mainly deals with "credible possibilities" rather than throwing Alpha Centurians at me, can you please link it?  Perferably one that isn't selling anything, isn't pushing government conspiracies down my throat, and doesn't worship Stanton Friedman as a God.  I know that's a tall order, but I know that there has to be one out there…

You'd have to define what you mean by credible possibilities. Credible by what standards? Clearly the majority of mainstream scientists don't embrace UFO phenomena so I would be surprised to find one adhering to the current conventions of science that does anything but dismiss the possibility of alien visitations to Earth.

That doesn't mean there aren't any scientists who personally put forward less disbelieving opinions, but I'd be surprised to find them putting together a website on the subject.

BTW, on the side note of Bob Lazar, I won't get into whether his story is true or not becuase that's a can of worms I don't care to open, but I will say that in all the interviews I've seen or listened to with him, he has come across convincingly as someone who has little personal interest in UFO's. He is interested in science and doesn't hang around with UFO chasers, AFAIK. That doesn't prove he isn't lying but in my opinion it is one point in favor of his possible credibility.
