I have seen discussions on this incident on a couple different shows lately. Seems to be one of the best unsolved UFO cases to date. I did a search on it, and surprisingly little came up that I could find that debunked the incident. Seems to have all the bullet-points, experienced flight crew (even though that doesn't improve eyewitness mistakes), independent radar comfirmation, seemingly retaliatory actions against the pilots for reporting it, government investigation, etc.
So, does anyone here read any debunking on this incident?

I have not heard of anything that has satisfactorily "explained away" the incident. (Not even a suggestion that the crew had started drinking the cargo!)
The most I recall hearing is speculation that it was a test flight of the stealth bomber, but I don't put too much stock in that given the descriptions. I can't recall what the radar cross-section showed of the object, but if it were a signficant return, that would greatly weigh against the possibility that it was a stealth-anything.
