Aliens are not happy with our activities on this planet, nor with our immoral behavior. Kind of pot and kettle situation and I love the last line:
"There was no word on the aliens' views on gang-probing of humans abducted as part of their "research" programme."

I would have thought the aliens would be more worried about us being omnivores and that they might be on the menu.

So aliens don't like make-up? Well, at least I'm safe! Wait, I have a couple of old packages which I never used…certainly they disapprove mightily
Are the aliens into homeopathy and ancient medicine? Hey, can't get much more natural than ox dung, and look at what an effective medicine that is! Or leeches, can't forget them.
From http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=110282
"Filipov’s team is reported to be analyzing the 150 new crop circles which appeared around the globe in the past year."
Oh dear. Though I haven't found anything about this on BAS's website yet. So it's, uh, at least hopefully something they're not taking seriously? Hopefully?
The Telegraph just put out an article as well, which basically re-hashes the same information as the Novinite one. I don't think I'll be finding anything else about this today unless I suddenly develop the ability to understand and read Bulgarian. Drat. I was hoping to actually find out about the BAS and their stance on it…

It seems to be the Space Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Science. Slightly to my surprise, their council does include one "Assoc.Prof. Dr. Lachezar Filipov" as a Deputy Director of International Collaboration.

Quite an interesting find there Stephen. For some reason I was expecting to find out at this Filipov wasn't real or was simply someone going off a false identity. Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me somewhere poking out. I'm not entirely sure on on how crop circles are a means of communication however. That part still leaves me guessing as well as shaking my head. Sounds more like a way to express personal beliefs by using little green men as scapegoats..or would that be spacegoats in this case?
Just an observance, but if this truly is a government support agency you think they could maybe hire someone to do a better website? Other than the pictures looking thirty years old it has that amateur "my first government funded program site" appeal.

Not going to make any stance one way or the other on this one :) but I can see how crop circles could certainly be a form of communication. They are nothing more than a symbol(s) Symbols represent things… I liken it to the plate that is affixed to the side of Pioneer 10. Purely symbols but which convey our location etc…hmmm, how smart was that? Send out a road map to be used by a potential invasion fleet! LOL

You do have me there Nosfer. I was thinking the crop circles on the communication end as being interpreted as we are immoral and thus not worthy apparently. It's okay for them to abduct us humans and do all sorts of wild experiments, but apparently making ourselves look good and using artificial insemination is where they draw the line. LOL
