I agree with the original author of the link. My first impression was that of the disappearing person in the magic box.  It reminded me of the Last Crusade where the young Indiana Jones jumps into the magic box in the caboose car. You see the lid lift up just a smidge for him to get the secret door at the bottom opened, then boom he is outside of the train.  In the video, you see the woman move into what looks like a ball, with her back towards the covers (if familiar with yoga like child's pose), then mysteriously melts into the bed. Now the fact that they edited time just because "nothing happened" seems fishy to me because it could answer a question that I have, which is how often did these people move in their sleep? The reason that I think this is an important question because when the incident takes place you have movement before and after. The movement isn't minor either. It's seems like she is actually curling up in a ball and then she's "gone" and when she returns, her husband and herself make this huge movement of moving the covers and showing legs, etc. Did CCTV notice that this couple makes such movements before the abduction or in any other sleeping videos?  Does she normally sleep in that position (meaning curled up)?  I know my young nieces and nephews do so it could be possible. It just all seems so out there for me. I truly believe we probably aren't the only ones in the vast universe, but the whole MIB and the covert helicopter, just seems to outrageous for me.  Anonymity doesn't mean truthfulness.

I can see why they would edit the tape to remove the parts where "nothing happens"  We see it all the time on "the shows"  We see the frames they want us to see.  But, I agree completely, there is not "nothing happening" in those missing minutes, nor in the minutes leading up to it, or the minutes afterward.  There is valuable footage that would go toward establishing a sleeping pattern/style that would be very helpful here. Comes down to the oft-stated complaint made here, why do we not get to see all of the video, but only the part where "it happens"?  That's a rhetorical question, BTW Laugh

Presumably, if this were such a sensational event, they would have repeated the filming to see what else they could capture and there would be more from which to draw a profile.  Now, I'm sure they would cite privacy reasons for why that video would not be made available….

I agree with what has been said here concerning the problems with the story.  Video or not, that story is…hard to swallow.  The video…meh.  Again, I don't find it very compelling either way.  I just have a couple of odd observations to throw into the mix.

The first…filming the TV with the video camera.  Nosfer mentioned that he questioned why they couldn't convert that sort of format to the PC.  I have to agree.  Very odd.  Odder still…the picture seems to be moving…as if the camera isn't on a tripod and just hand-held.  No reason in the world for that.  Even if you don't have a tripod, you're filming a stationary object.  Just get a box.  Not sure why that bothers me…I guess it's just that I can't see a reason for it.

The other thing, because the camera was moving, you get to see the edge of the TV.  It's orange.  I've never seen an orange TV before.  Sure, I imagine that they make them (especially back in the '70's).  I guess in the age of flat screens, HD and plasma…an orange border is pretty funny.  I found that much more interesting than the content of the actual video… Laugh

There was some discussion (in the video comments?) about why they didn't use a particular program to convert it and they said they tried but it didn't work.  I have to go with either stretching the truth or basic unfamiliarity there.

The amount of jostle during the secondary filming was incredible.  I'm not sure it was even that bad during the Night Crawler episode of FoF!
