Apparently, this was captured on a Restaurant's surveillance tape:

Notice the height. And then the blurriness. I'm thinking an animal of some sort.
In any event…it made me thirsty for a milk shake!

I'm honestly confused about how these stories happen. I mean, if I caught something blurry on a security camera and couldn't figure out what it was, "spray for spiders" and "wipe off lens" would be high on my to-do list. "Call local news" wouldn't be on there anywhere.
I'm going to go with my usual guess of "bug on the lens". Does it actually go out the door in the end, or does it just get overexposed against the white wall? Can't tell.
These stories all seem to follow a rather exact formula. They have the same coy intro about "something strange", the same random quotes obviously offered by whoever came by the place at the time, the same attempts at back story. (At least this time they didn't claim it was on a Native American burial ground.) There's usually a touch of surreality with at least one of the witnesses– in this case, the guy who wanted to name the ghost after Annette Funicello or Frankie Avalon for no apparent reason. A few too many "Beach Party" movies, I guess.

I second the vote for a bug.
I have a CCTV camera at the front door. It gets haunted all the time by similar looking insects.
Lol at the comment that it took on more of a human type form. People really do like to scare themselves don't they.

Have to agree on a bug as well. Human form? Don't see it. Looks like they took advantage of the situation and ran with it. To me it seemed like a free commercial for the place. Even on Route 66 times are hard and with the cost of gas going up, I'm guessing this will make the place a more interesting draw/destination for those tourists traveling to the Grand Canyon. This is the time of year that draws the type/age of visitor who takes those long driving road trips and I say that being in that age range myself so please don't be offended. Most who stop there probably can remember and appreciate the nostalgia of the place. As far as naming it either Frankie or Annette, I'm for Eric Von Zipper the way it moves through the shot.
Actually the town itself is somewhat nostalgic and a throwback in time. It looks like it's quite a nice place to visit and apparently is considered the gateway to the Grand Canyon and the starting point for the old fashion train rides on the Grand Canyon Railway. http://www.thetrain.com/. Here are two links to the town: http://www.williamschamber.com/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Williams,_Arizona

I thought about the bug theory, which is usually the case. The only reason that I said "animal" is that at the very end, right by the wall that you mentioned, I thought I could make out the outline of the hind quarters and tail of a cat. They didn't mention the type of the camera or the settings being used. If it's using some intermittent timing setting (frame, pause, frame, pause), then a running cat would appear as a blur. I've seen this sort of thing before, usually on older outdoor security cameras. It's a shame we can't see another example of something moving on that camera for comparison.

Revenant I agree with you. Near the end you can almost see a tail. And to reiterate, not knowing how it is filmed, it could be something like an animal wandering around moving faster than the camera takes it's shots.
I was just hanging around with friends and as I went to take a picture (digital) one of my friends walked right in front of the camera. What we see is a "blur" only on one side of the picture (transparent as well, you can see someone standing behind him), so I'm sure someone could have called it a ghost as well.

Hmmm…I wouldn't take any chances. Perform a "protective blessing" on the camera, destroy it, bury it and then consecrate the ground. And if anything else happens, you may have to do the same thing to that friend who walked right in front of the camera. You can't be too careful with these things…
As for the film clip…yeah, I thought bug the whole way until right by that wall. It could be a cat. It could still be a bug. In either case, I don't think Lorraine Warren should be called in. Then again, would it really make any difference if she was?

Not..another…bug…near…the…security…camera
There is no way to tell how close to the lens this is. My guess: very close.
Don't know what tripped the alarm, but anything could have done that. Just coincidence it happened when the bug flew past. Or, maybe a cat as proposed by Revenant was responsible for this so-called apparition.
Geez, these people are going to look like the same numb nuts who went bonkers over that blue gas station "ghost". Yeah, call out the media so they could look like gullible numb nuts too. I'm sure that newscaster won't put this on her resume.
