Show is not even over and I have a lot of problems. First, I'm wondering what part of NC they (Mike & Paula) are from. I'm live in NC, I'm deeply ashamed. Second, I was wondering why Mike's brother Steve said that he practiced Witchcraft? With all the negative connotations that the word "witchcraft" has, you're fix your mouth to say it on national TV? Why could he not say he used to be a practicing Wiccan? Wicca may not be understood but in my own opinion of living in Bible Belt, NC, it has less of a negative connotation than "witchcraft."

I am also wondering why Paula did not mention the "summoning" of a "demon" in the home before they talked to the brother and the broken circle. I mean that is some pretty important information to leave out when Ryan first interviewed her. Oh, and why did Ryan ask the meaning of Steve's tattoo, when, in theory, a five pointed star enclosed in a circle is one of the most well known symbols in the country, if not the world. That just led me to believe that it was a set up and they knew from the beginning what they were getting into too and asked the misleading questions.

Ugh, these problems may seem minor but the outstanding prejudice of being a different religion in NC is astronomical. I use to practice Wicca and was basically forced out of my high school since then. I have become disillusioned towards that religion as I have all religion and claim no affiliation to anything anymore, which in NC may just be worse. It just upset me that it was…ummm, what's the word? upholding? perpetrating? the stereotypes of that religion by the questions they asked and they way they went about the investigation after they found out.
