I tried to find a suitable place for this little tidbit, but as you all know Most Haunted doesn't have a spot on this site (Not placing blame – I can barely believe that I'm creating one for it myself!!!) Weather it's worthy of this space or not here goes…

My daughter was watching a TEVO'D episode of Most Haunted, I believe the episode to be "Conference House". I'm not going to list their supposed evidence, as it's always open for debate. It was one of their typical episodes – that's all I will say about the content!!

What did catch my eye was the activity going on in the post-show-review, during the last 2 minutes. The man giving the summary of their conclusions (don't know his name-daughter's fav show – NOT MINE),is standing outside of the location giving his final analysis on the place, when directly behind him in a field on the grounds, I see this: Just to the left of him (our right when viewing TV), A strange white "thing" is roaming around in the field to his left – rear. It roams visibly for a few seconds, then as it almost roams off screen, a black "Thing"/figure darts out from behind the man's collar (but it is actually in the field) , and runs over to some shallow hill just outside the building. "It" then proceeds to take cover behind the hill (as if hiding out), but keeps only the head visible. Then the head disappears too.The strange thing about this clip is that the "black thing" moved far faster than I know of any human – among the living – to be able to run & cover that distance. The white thing in the beginning was't that impressive, but it is what initially draws your attention to the field itself.

Now, on top of it's tremendous speed, (the black thing) it seemed to portray a running motion. Leg movement can even be seen as it travels from one point to another. Then the show flips to a clip of the investigation. Then back to the host/commentator outside, and with him in the same spot, you can see yet another black figure dart from the right side of the screen (our right his left), really close to the building. It travels in the same fashion, just about as fast as the first, across the front of the building and disappears as it seems to go to the same place behind the hosts collar, as the first one came from. However it is not as close to the camera as the first, so I had a hard time isolating leg movement. But it does seem to resemble the same type of movement as the first one. It seemed to go faster than normal running, and doesn't seem to be an animal in flight?!

I didn't watch the show but could hear it while putzing around the house. I don't recall hearing the claim of "shadow people" being mentioned as the actual activity, but I could be wrong. I would have to actually sit down & put myself through the agonizing task of watching the show in it's entirety (good grief!). I noticed this while walking to the television to "unplug" my daughter so to speak, as I had already told her more than once that it was time for bed, & heard the all too famous "hold on mom" for the last time. Had she not given me such a hard time, I may have never caught this seemingly unnoticed footage (as the shows CAMERA MAN doesn't seem to notice it either).

Yes after that little incident, I had to hear the inevidible "See mom, I told you this show isn't crap", after opening my big mouth!

Well I don't know about that, but I know I saw something worth a second look. & a 3rd, & a 4th, & a 5th! I watched that clip about 8 or 9 times…All I can say is when initially caught off guard, it gave me the heebie jeebies! I wish I had the equipment to transfer that clip to DVD & upload it for your viewing pleasure, but unfortunately all I can do, is give the name of the show & episode & hope that you can find it somewhere. Maybe someone out there owns a season set, & can get that clip on this site…or Utube or Hulu (which I just became aware of through a member of this site-thanx Stephan!). The info is as follows…

                                        Program:Most Haunted

                                        Episode: Conference House

                                        Date last aired: 1/30/08

Unfortunately I don't have an episode #, or the season #. I  hope you're able to find it somewhere, I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on this. It is at least worth checking it out! Have Fun & Happy Haunting!!!!

Built before 1680, Conferance House is situated on Staten Island overlooking Raritan Bay. It is a New York Landmark and an unsuccessful peace conference was held there in 1776 in a bid to stop the American Civil War. What will the Most Haunted team find when they enter?*

*Think they meant Revolutionary War.

Has 1-6 parts of the episode.

Have to gear up to watch it–with all the screaming and the medium spouting nonsense, it's really difficult.

To my knowledge, MH never has used the term "Shadow People".  They seem to call everything "astrals" or spirits.

What you caught sounds interesting.  I'm wondering, though, if they are indeed shadows–of the crew, equipment etc.  If someone moved that big fuzzy thing very quickly and it made a shadow, it would indeed appear to have traveled very quickly.

Unfortunately like GH, MH does not post any supposed evidence they catch, or respond to people who thought they saw something (except during their live events).  "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" syndrome certainly applies to this show.  You can never know what is real or what is a possible hoax.

If 50 million people believe a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.
