These guys were really nice and it was quite bizarre seeing them in person.  And yes Fabs had is signature cigar in his mouth the entire time.  They have a new psychic medium and are still investigating, but I don't believe they said any new episodes would be airing (I had to get back to work so I couldn't stay for the full thing).  Their reruns are internationally shown. We had a great turn out for them, although the paranormal brings out some strange people.

I went back through some of the previous threads and asked them a couple of questions based off of what was being discussed here.  There was some consideration about having an actual scientists with them on their investigations because Chicago has U of C, UIC, DePaul, Northwestern, etc. with some really great science minds to ask to come out.  They brought up quantum physics and how some of the principles are similar to the what happens in the paranormal.  It's up in the air at the moment.  They do consult with them and it turns out, they actually do go more than 1 day at a place sometimes and during the day, which obviously they didn't air. They also don't like talking paranormal theories as well, yet the irony on this to me was they use some of the same equipment as other groups so they have to believe in some of the theories.  Some of the debunking footage they showed in their presentation, I don't recall seeing in the episodes.  They stated that they don't use still cameras because they don't believe that "orbs" captured on these things are anything paranormal. They also stated that they aren't with "100 percent certainty" that what they are capturing on EVPs are "ghosts" because you cannot be 100 percent certain that they exist. All they know is that when they are in a room, and it's just two of them and they aren't talking, but manage to get someone or something talking on the recorder, it is a little unnerving. We got to hear some of the EVPs and just like on TV, most of it sounded like static.  This could be that our sound system wasn't really set up at a good angle for me to hear clearly as well.

They all agreed that they are a bunch of CRAP. Total bogus equipment and
they don't believe in using them. 

They only do the Chicagoland area, Northwest Indiana, and maybe if necessary, southern Wisconsin because of their cop jobs.  They mainly do personal homes or businesses where what's happening is freaking people out. They don't do a "cleansing" and that is left up to their psychic. Surprisingly, this psychic was encouraging us to walk around with a digital recorder and ask questions to see if we get any answers.  I remember on PS that doing this, opened a portal to the spirit world and was warned against it.

All in all, way cool to hear them talk. I'm sorry I missed them last year.  It turns out, I work with one of them so that was pretty cool. He must have a different shift then me because I don't recall seeing him.
