The emulsion on Polaroids can be manipulated using pressure. Before the photo fully develops, while it's still gray, a person can take a pencil, coin or fingernail and, writing on the emulsion, get the effect seen on the polaroids used as evidence for ghosts. I remember reading a newspaper article about 30 years ago about polaroid "artists" doing this very thing. I had a friend take a polaroid photo of me and I used the end of a pen to scratch into the emulsion while it was developing. It ended up looking like I had streaks of white and orange light emanating from my head. Now, this was done after taking the picture, but I wonder if it can be done to unexposed film before it's put in the camera?

@ hyacinth, again: Have your ever seen "Keeping Up Appearances"? The main character's name is Hyacinth….but I digress.
Please remember that Bucket is pronounced Bouquet thank you very much lol
I'd bet the ghost children on the tracks will be the part they debunk so they look like they're doing something . I could have my own show if all there is too it is to watch another show and repeat it.
In the ghost writer episode didn't the guy ask the "ghost " were you murdered and the answer was corpus delecti , huh ?

The progression or variety of writing was interesting as well, you had those original white smudges where the ghost was just learning to write. Then there were two very separate styles, one where the letters were quite smooth and readable and then the other that looked like the writer was trying to emulate flames with the "yes" answer. The "friend" response was somewhere in between the two styles so maybe it hadn't quite perfected the flame style at that point.
Obviously one of these styles belongs to the chicken whereas the other style must be from the cow.

hyacinth said this: "I Googled the predator in Dartmoor and if its the same thing its also been done , about big black cats people are seeing , how thats paranormal I don't know."
Dartmoor rang a bell for me, but not concerning cats. I finally found it. They "may" be talking about the "Demon of Dartmoor." The story began as this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-471673/Demon-Dartmoor-Mystery-beast-seen-hell-hounds-haunt.html
Then…it turned into this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-472909/Thats-Beast-Dartmoor–pet-dog.html
Cryptozoology doesn't get much better than that….
So if FoF is choosing this one…I don't really see a point…

I've never heard of Raytown Ray the supposed lake creature.Champ of Lake Champlain, yes, but not this one.It sounds as though the town is trying to drum up publicity. I'm no fish expert, but there are several varities of fish which get quite large I understand,so that maybe what they are seeing, or as someone put forth, a large old log that somehow got disturbed and floated to the surface.
I saw about the ghost writer on Sightings, and they should have talked to other people who have had writing appear on their photos as suggested.Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year.
