I'm starting to think the Aliens are speeding up their Genetic Superior Selection process.
Consider what has been happening…
First, Kung Fu is gone. Then Farrah, and MJ (on the SAME DAY!)
And now…. Billy Mays.
Are the Aliens trying to eliminate our insatiable desire to hit the 'mute' button on our TV's? If so, why are they doing this? If something Happens to William Shatner next, I will no longer have any question in my mind.
Food for thought.

Mary,
It sure is odd. However, I'm concerned about the diversity. Richardson, Carradine, McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson and Mays with the odd thing being that they think Mays passed from the same type of head injury as Miranda Richardson not that long ago. Amazing.
As far as Shatner, the strange thing is, I like Shatner's Raw Nerve "interview" show on cable when I can catch it on the BIO Channel. It's not really in the standard style but is more of an intimate friend to friend conversation and not a guest doing his "act" like most shows. He seems to ask questions no one else would ask. I caught most of the show he did with Kelsey Grammar (Frazier) which was fascinating. I say most of it because I missed the very beginning but once it was on, I was drawn in until the show was over. However, I'd like to yank those Priceline commercials off the air asap!

Actually, no. I do however find 'Wild' Bill Shatner to be less irritating than that genetic mistake of a woman in those Progressive Insurance commercials.
Somebody shoot her please!

It's quite simple, really.
Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMann, David Carradine, and Billy Mays were all really the same person. When that person died, they had to fabricate "deaths" for the rest very quickly.

So…when I had that poster of Farrah on my wall, it was actually a poster of Billy Mays?
Suddenly…I don't feel very well…

And Harve Presnell (Unsinkable Molly Brown, Paint Your Wagon…..).
Sad thing is, I have to agree with one of the comments in the link you provided Nosfer. I was more upset by Mays' passing than Jackson's. Some might have a problem with Mays' "pitch" but he seemed like he was an all around good guy and one you'd like to sit down with and enjoy a conversation.
I'm pulling up the covers!
EDIT: They are running Pitchmen tonight on Discovery Channel all evening with Billy Mays for those that are tired of re-runs.
