Dinosaur experts in Dorset, England are examining the fossilized skull of what is believed to be that of a sea monster large enough to have a T-Rex for breakfast. The skull is believed to be that of a pliosaur and is one of the largest specimens of a gigantic aquatic reptiles ever found. Apparently when they are found, they are flattened due to the fact they were not a robust reptile but this one is apparently pretty much in 3-D and not distorted. Here are two stories. The first is here and the original story is found here in the Times Online.

Cool, I love it when they find giant fossils of sea creatures. I wonder if this is a species of Liopleurodon or Kronosaurus, or a new plesiosaur overall. I also remember watching a special about the largest ichthyosaur found in Canada similar to Shonisaurus that grew to over 50 feet long.

But why would a sea creature get wiped out in The Flood?
|
"Quando omni flunkus moritati" ("When all else fails, play dead") – Possum Lodge motto. Jason and Grant should adopt it as their own.

Well, if (as it is Written) the Flood was caused by intense rain, then the influx of fresh water could have diluted the salt content of the seas to the point where these creatures could not survive because of a changed habitat :)
