Great article on Newsweek about all the advice Oprah dispenses on her show.

Uhhh…. that article was too disgusting for words. Suzanne Somers obviously didn't have to 'act' when she played "Chrissy"; it came naturally. She probably thinks she's going to live forever by doing all that… stuff. (Injecting hormones into her ???? Using what? A turkey baster? Now I will have to scrub this image out of my mind, somehow…) This is an great example of too much money, and waaaayyyy too few brains. *shudders*

Hmmm…interesting link. Seems that Oprah is to health as Larry King is to the paranormal.
I've never quite understood the power of Oprah. The article mentions exactly what I see:
"In real life, she has almost nothing in common with most of her viewers. She is an unapproachable billionaire with a private jet and homes around the country who hangs out with movie stars. She is not married and has no children."
I'm unclear on how that makes her the "people's oracle." Her allure and power is more of a mystery to me than the paranormal is…

Sold her soul to the devil. How else can you explain it?
