Not as dry a place as was long thought.

It’s pretty amazing I think.  If water is the key to life as we understand it, just look at how many planets and satellites in our own little solar system have some form of water.  And then extrapolate that with all the billions of planets that exist within the various galaxies, and one must wonder that life may not be as rare as once thought in the universe.  There may be millions of planets with some form of organic life on them, whether microscopic or intelligent.  Really makes one think!

I agree darkeyes.  I was pretty amazed reading the link as well.  Thanks Nosfer.

Wonder if we actually hit the eye of the man in the moon if he would shed tears?  Undecided

@ darkeyes:  I haven't read the link yet, but I agree with you. The sheer numbers alone make it almost unfathomable to think we are the only life that exists. And on a more soberring note: surely we are not the most 'intelligent' form of life.

btw, I see you're from Arlington; I use to live in Grand Prairie, and I wouldn't mind moving back to the DFW area one day.

I….I'm thinking.

This is great news from the moon.  Now the question is, how many of the dark craters have water? I want to know if there's any evidence of life.  Think about the life forms found deep in the glaciers on earth.  The potential is certainly there.
