While this is a VERY sad and upsetting case, this article speaks to the reality of Psychics.

What is more sad to me is the hope it brings to the families.    In this case, they are reunited, but many years later.   Truth is, the daughter will never recover fully – she will be in therapy the rest of her life.

That fact these psychics take credit for anything is nothing short of an abomination.

Read the comments to this article as well.  It is a combination of sad and funny.

Really, the article and the responses is a total picture of the state of the world, and what it thinks.

Scary…

Oh… My….. Lord.

I read 2 pages into the comments and had to stop. I'm still shaking my head in horror and disbelief. I've clearly gotten spoiled hanging out here and ignoring the outside world because if those comments are a fair representation of the outside world..? YIKES!

I think I'll go climb under my blankie, hide my head and shiver!…. yeesh!

From the article: "Despite repeated claims to the contrary, there is not a single documented case of a missing person being found or recovered due solely to psychic information."

Yet…people still pay them.  "Dayle Schear, who was paid by Jaycee's parents to help locate their daughter…"  Just think about that for a second.  At the darkest and most tragic moments of the parents lives…there is always someone there willing to take their money.  Maybe the show MonsterQuest should do an episode that features some of these psychics…they truly are monsters…

I was absolutely stunned by this article, and the audacity of the "psychic" involved. However, for a real shocker, click on the link at the bottom of that article entitled "Psychic Nearly Destroys Family" and brace yourself for something even more hideous. Unbelievable!
