I hate when a 500 year old guy keeps proving how much cooler and smarter he is than me. Frankly, it does nothing for my self-esteem…
Anyway…*sighs*….here's more proof of Da Vinci's superiority over me: "A mechanical lion invented by Leonardo da Vinci to entertain the King of France has sprung back to life in the Renaissance genius's last home." Seriously? He just keeps rubbing it in my face. Whatever…here's the story.

From an insider, I've gotten some additional footage of Da Vinci's lion, this was supposedly shot by the Master himself (so I think he one-ups us again!):

You know, after watching the video…I have to admit…some decent engineering and understanding of physics went into that. Sure, it's ridiculous, yet…even with the somewhat violent rocking motion, it doesn't fall over. And it isn't stationary, it moves around as well. It's kind of impressive from a design aspect. I think Da Vinci would give it his approval…
