Not paranormal, maybe cryptozoological, but definitely mysterious and interesting.

Maybe a carcass of an newly discovered creature?

Wow, pretty interesting. Thanks for the link, Bobarino.
The first thing I thought of was a possible new version of the red tide. If the temperature of the water has increased, then it could be possible. In fact, MonsterQuest had a show on the explosion of giant jellyfish near Japan. They also believe that their over-abundance may be due to warmer water.
If you see any updates, please pass them along.

Bobarino,
Thanks for the links. Can't wait until next week to hear what they determine. Very interesting what they've found floating around in it when they took samples.
Keep us updated and thanks again.

Wasn't this covered in Ghostbusters II?
Doubtful of this being a carcass.
They said it was 12 miles long.
A 12 mile long creature could not go undiscovered long.

Bobarino,
Thanks for the follow up. I think what hit me after reading this article was her analogy. "It's sort of like a swimming pool that hasn't been cleaned in a while." Even though it's not uncommon, it really makes you realize that with all this pollution, the world is truly not doing a good enough job to monitor itself. The ocean is sick and yet the world sits back, eats it's bounty and then can't figure out why they become ill. Air pollution is killing us yet people still pollute. The fact we do virtually nothing because it's a PC world is unacceptable. The world needs to wake up and realize we are truly killing ourselves and everything around us or soon there will be nothing left of this planet.

'Phew', That's a relief, thanks Bobarino for the update.
I was afraid it had come from a broken sewer line at the Taco Bell
in Barrow and it would become a set up for GH.
Scenario:
Camera panning across the tundra, focus in on a polar bear destroying a white van. Jay and Grant inside trying to push each other out a window.
Sigh, What fitting finale for the series that would be.
