We live in dark times; war, terrorism, financial ruin, the list is seemingly endless.  Yet, we continue to ignore one of the greatest threats known to mankind…DHMO (Dihydrogen Monoxide)!  It is the silent killer.  An epic killer.  A killer that must be stopped.  You want proof?

 http://www.netreach.net/~rjones/no_dhmo.html

And this is just a small taste.  That page can you lead to the main website.  The authority on DHMO that everyone should immediately bookmark:

 http://www.dhmo.org/

That website is absolutely brilliant.  By far, one of the best things on the web.  I can't believe that I've never posted it here.

For those still not getting it…

"An oldie but a goodie."  So true.  Every now and then it pops again in the strangest places.  It's an absolute favorite amongst chemists.  Sometimes we would have tours (business types) come through our lab.  We'd start talking about the dangers of DHMO.  It would catch their attention and they'd stop.  We'd rant and rave for a while…ending in us drinking all the samples.  The cost for DHMO- $0.01  The cost for the vials- $4.00  The cost for the looks on their faces- priceless.  Good times…

This is great! I forgot all about this. It brought back some of those collage memories of the professors who would try to scare the sh&%t out of the new students.

Thanks for the websites Revenant. I know just who to show them to.Cool
