Interesting story and pix.   Cusrious to see what it turns out to be.  My guess is an out of control missle that exploded.

(I tried to post this in the "Other Fringe science" area but it didn't let me post)

I've found that being AWESOME is a full time job…

Looks like a missile/rocket. They can produce some pretty amazing trails under the right conditions.

The answer has been revealed and it is here, however, the Russian defense ministry refuses to confirm it.  Surprise!

The pictures are cool but the real appeal of the blue spiral over Norway was the action shot from the video.  Wild rotation with the fade in of black at the end?  Looked like a Star Trek special effect.  Worm hole forms over Norway?

Awesome.

Thanks for that Nosfer. I haven't been to the EnterpriseMission for some time. Looks like I need to start visiting a little more regularly from now on.

I hadn't been there in probably about two years, not sure why I decided to go back yesterday, was just checking out a few sites and that one came up. I'll say this much, ol' Richard and Company are never a dull read! lol

I have a short attention span. Too much reading!

They were doing fine until page 3 where they totally lost the plot.
