While a lot of attention has been focused on the LHC, things are also happening at the budget-strapped collider in Batavia, IL. (Does this remind you of any recent GH episodes?…by recent I mean the last 4 seasons or so!)

I've been out to Fermi a few times. I had both a typical guided tour and then a private tour (I knew some people there). If you're into science at all, the place is really impressive. But, the location is more than just a lab. You can see concerts there, they have fairs and such, even art shows. You can walk the prairie trails…they even have buffalo.
(Fun fact – Some people believed that the reason Fermi brought in the buffalo was that they were to serve as an early warning for radiation leaks (like a huge version of the canary in the coalmine). It was hilarious. One of the more advanced labs in the nation using Buffalo to look for radiation leaks…. It would be like tying a tuna to the front of a nuclear submarine as an early warning system for torpedoes… )
As for the story…seems exciting. It will be really interesting to see if it pans out. Thanks for posting this.

You mean EVERY one? Except that GH is just the advertising medium. Meaning, they are standing in Live Science's shoes.

The buffalo ARE an interesting touch, but they just looked so out of place lol Course, the Yellowstone ones aren't much better with their standing by the side of the road looking for handouts in between gorings!
