I felt I should emphasize the MAY portion a bit more than the article title did, but an interesting read nonetheless:

The site was proposed as a candidate landing spot for the Mars Science Laboratory but the terrain conditions supposedly made for too dangerous a landing so we'll have to wait a bit later for an investigation here.
