Tonight the boys visit a tattoo parlor and a former bordello, and I can’t wait to see what they do to bring out the ghosts this time.  I suppose they could get some ink done at the tattoo parlor, but at the bordello?  I see the blonde gets into a bathtub from the previews, so I might have to watch it (for purely scientific purposes of course).   I just hope the rest keep their clothes on!

Ha!  They did give someone a tat!   But, overall, another forgettable episode.  Move along, nothing to see here.

I feel that the scientific method needs to be taught to these investigators. They have this crazy idea that by just testing a hypothesis that they are providing real scientific data. Problem occurs when they don’t have a control to compare the results of the first test. It is just unsubstantiated data.

Why call an expert if you are going to have him/her tout information outside of their field of expertise? How does a neuroscientist have a credible claim in seismographic activity relation to EMF fields or paranormal events occurring in high EMF environment? This would be like getting a proctologist to recommend toothpaste on its cavity fighting ability.

I suppose they think by tossing in these professionals it will give the show some form of credibility.  Unfortunately, Ghost Lab is all about entertainment.  This is what happens when competing networks want to cash in on the ratings wave started by Ghost Hunters.  It’s TV 101, find a proven popular show and begin making clones.

I have to wonder if these guys really think we are laughing with them, not realizing we’re laughing at them.

The truely sad aspect of this is that the producers must know this, yet they have no problem with it.

Marketing must have figured out that they have two targets -

The people who have no idea that there is any problem at all, and those like us who are keenly interested in the subject and watch in the hopes of some small sliver of true information might sneak through.

- OH   These guys get to play with a superboard ( not new technology but still cool ) and Techmangler Steve reviews the FLIR images on the 4 inch screen ?

Anyone think the new GHA RV will one up them and  include a Microsoft Surface ?  ( don't hold your breath )

Was that THE infamous Dr Persinger of electro-hypersensitivity fame? If so his reputation just went straight down the plug hole.

It was one and the same Learjet!

UFOlogists are now running with his EH theory, basically stating that people who are electro-hypersensitive are more likely to experience "alien encounters and abductions".

I'm thinking some peoples' parents may have taken too many drugs back in the '60's!

This show has become a "fun house" with the two boys sneaking around scaring their "investigators" to death. Every time I watch this show I think "well now they are getting started to do some investigating" and poof it's over and I have wasted another hour of my life. Should be called Frat House Lab.

How come every time they mentioned the name "Walter" I immediately started thinking of:

LOL, I particularly like the reference to the "haunted house" in there, as well as how every time he walks in the front door he hears a voice saying "Get out!!" :)

Haven't seen the show yet.Not to be off topic, but the Weekly Herald, the local news paper for the schertz and northeast San Antonio area has a front page article about the two brothers who are from Schertz.

I don't know if the Herald has a website, they might folks.

i guess these guys with their running around trying to spook, no pun intended their fellow investigators

are trying to be the next Stango, or do Steve and Tango one better.my sister has seen the show, and told me she thought the two brothers were a couple of tools as she puts it.

Here's the article HollyDolly referred to but there is no mention of the two brothers.  Instead the focus is on a Stephen Hock, who is a school administrator from the nearby town of Cibolo.  The only reference to Schertz is "a six-member team based in Schertz".  Basically, it's a promo for the show.

I didn't think it was possible, but (IMO) this show is worse than Paranormal State and Most Haunted! I can usually sit through any paranormal show (I watch GH every week. LOL!) but I could NOT sit through Ghost Lab! I guess I'll just have to rely on you good people to keep me in the know! ;-)

I just can't wait for the episode when they visit the birthplace of Curly, Moe or Larry and spend the night running around bopping each other on the head Laughing

And that would differentiate the episode from all the others how? :)

LMAO!!!
