I agree that there should be a more controlled environment and a long term study.  With a little fore thought I believe a group could get readings that would get investigation of these anomalies closer to a true scientific field. There will still be tons of mistakes, and incorrect hypothesis, but why not try with better equipment.    Hell its easy to start with a portable Faraday cage, and isolate external RF.
Even Edison saw the Marconi effect and ignored it.

This group already knows where Wright Pat is. Has anyone told you guys of the GSA action sites. In it you are able to bid on used Government any thing.  W/P has one of the cutting edge PMEL/TMDE labs in the world. When they put items for auction you are able to get even old test equipment.  If you look close this stuff is cutting edge compared to Radio shack crap.
If some how you can become a none profit organization, I believe you are able to just ask for it and get it for free.  This applies to most government agencies also. You may have to find the rules that apply because most Government employees, don't have a clue of this type of regulation.

RE: EMF's I also posted in the forum my thoughts on EMF causing paranormal activity, not only would your sister be sitting in a room full of ghosts like Whoopi Goldberg in "Ghost" (RIP Patrick Swayze) when she discovers she can hear ghosts after all, a good place for them would be in hospital MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) device's room.  None of the symptoms mentioned by J & G appear on the form for acceptance of the imaging you have to sign are mentioned. The closest thing to skin irritation (and this was pretty much debunked by Mythbusters) is a tattoo with a VERY high concentration of iron oxide as a red pigment slightly plausible.  I also asked the technician about what the gauss used by the mri puts out, she replied in the thousands, which sounds right as the field does have to be strong enough to see soft tissue in great detail, while the average KII meter reads in the milligauss, less than 1 gauss obviously.  The only other side effect that may happen in an MRI device is hallucinations, but this is due to possible masses on the brain or severe brain injury or brain defect, oh wait, claustrophobics do feel panicky, but of course that is due to the confined space they are put in for about 30 minutes or possibly more.  The technician said she had never heard of such things and never had anyone report anything like what J & G describe and this would be the ULTRA Fear Cage.

RE: a barometer, this just measures the pressure of the atmosphere above us, it would have nothing to do with ghosts as they would have to affect the weight of the air column above them to the limits of space.  We experience approximately 30 pounds per square inch of air on us at all times, the lines you see on a weather map that are around say a low or high pressure system are readings of identical air pressure, measured in millibars.  IF ghosts appear in lower areas of air pressure, then the eye of a hurricane would be the ideal place to go ghost hunting! This can get down to 25 mb, I would have to look up the lowest pressure recorded on Earth, but it's probably less that 25mb, which would be 5 pounds less pressure on our heads at sea level.  The higher we go, the lower the air pressure gets as well, obviously, having less air to sit on us, this is why commercial airliners are pressurized.  The next time you fly, if you do, and have a water bottle that you can buy in the concourse after security, drink a bit before takeoff and seal it and check it out at flight level, or just leave it…you will notice a change in the bottle.  If you open a bottle of water at flight level, drink from it and seal it up again, it's also fun to note it when you reach the ground. But if barometric pressure lowered significantly in a small area, even a few millibars, you would have like a small dust devil form as the air from the higher pressure migrates to fill the void left by the lower pressure.  Tornadoes are also areas of very low air pressure on the ground as air is sucked up into the rising thunderhead very fast, air from around the base of the updraft rushes in to fill that void, but the actual mechanism of how it forms into a funnel and just what ingredients it needs, still needs more study as some thunderstorms form strong updrafts but don't produce tornadoes, others do, but if the whole thunderstorm itself is rotating and by itself (a supercell) chances are a lot better that one may form, it's these storms that storm chasers concentrate on, but still, not every one forms a tornado. Very large hail is usually accompanied by these storms from the updrafts, with or without rotation.  Anyway, I got way off topic, but there definately would be a draught from all locations in that room concentrating on the low pressure area, it also would get cold, but cold spots caused by lower pressure would still contain the draught as air rushes to fill that lower pressure to even it out (for every action, there is an even and opposite reaction).  Localized hot spots would be caused by high pressure, remember the science class experiment of putting a cotton ball in like a clear bicycle pump, pushing the plunger quickly and it bursts into flames? Same idea, but much less pressure.
