I hate it when they investigate museums….but in this case, if it keeps them from the Arizona I am all for it.

The native Hawaiians have all kinds of legends they can check out.MTV's Fear visited a place in Hawaii they called the Ki Sugar Plantation and mill. Now I'll have to look up the show at Wikipedia as they give there the actual names for many of the places they filmed at. They could even do Magnolia Lane Plantation in Louisiana which was covered by Scariest places on Earth.

I'm shocked noone is protesting this. Don't know how one could get a petition going online since I don't Facebook or Twitter. If they were to investigate the Battle of Little Bighorn, you know the native americans would be all over their case .Same goes if GHI tried to investigate Auschwitz or Dachu, would create an international furor.

Why do they think they have to do Pearl Harbour? just should leave it alone. there are plenty of places to go

besides there.

You're right and this is indeed part of what they are investigating.  I've matched up the window patterns that I see in the preview with the windows here so I'm fairly certain this is one of their stops.

So I follow Ghost Hunters on Facebook. Not sure if it's their "official" page or not, but regardless. Here is their most recent Facebook post:

Ghost Hunters returns June 1st @ 8|7c! TAPS ventures to Pearl Harbor… or should I say Pearl HarBOO? GHOST JOKES!

NOOOOO! No ghost jokes! NOT FOR THIS! Frown

and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

I don't follow GH on Facebook and I don't really check out Facebook (I know, I know…I'm one of the eight people left that do not…).  Do Jason and Grant actually write those "blurbs?"  If they do not, who does?

And regardless…I agree, it's in poor taste.  And I think that's all that I can say about that without using profanity.  So…

Poking through a few of the posts, they all involve terrible puns, and they don't have either Jay or Grant's distinctive spelling and grammar (ahem). The feed also refers to all TAPS members by name in the third person. So I'm assuming that it isn't a TAPS member updating that feed. I imagine some SyFy or Pilgrim intern is chained to a desk somewhere.

Whether it's respectful or not, I can't imagine that this will be anything other than a bait-and-switch. Are they just going to sit in the Arizona memorial all night? Scuba-dive the wreck? (That I'd watch.) Either case is insane, and the first would be terrible TV. I imagine that instead they'll find some land-based location to investigate, like the on-site museum. So it'll be another haunted museum with a gift shop.

From HollyDolly:

…Not to change the subject, but I saw today a sticker on the back window of a car something about "The Sons  and Daughters of Pearl Harbour Society".I assume these are children of survivors of pearl Harbour. So does  anyone know or hear anything more on their trip to Hawaii?
