On a lark, I sniffed around the open discussion board at everydayparanormal.com – this is the Ghost Labs site.
Strange to see someone logged in under the username of RonMilione offering them exclusive use of what he claims to be an EVP Voice Recognition Analyzer Prototype.
Wonder if the "Steve's Gear Guide" section on SyFy's site will be removing him as their expert - unless they are still employing the white noise generator ( they never mention it on the show and it is never seen with their equipment ) it appears they are not using anything he built.

Good catch but I'm not sure if TAPS/GH cares or not. There are a lot of people (including Brian Harnois) who are still listed as contributing technical articles and we all know J & G's stance on Brian. I think there are just so many "former" members it would drive them crazy to care. My guess is they dismiss them with a wave of the hand and a good riddance.
Since you and I have been on this board awhile, I know you are aware of this but others can check the forum which I started which shows "The Progression of TAPS".
It is an interesting point and thanks for the good eye.

Hi
i'm new here but on the matter of Ron Milione he tries to get on any paranormal show, he was on a few ghost hunters episodes and paranormal state appearing as a top evp person in the country. To my knowlledge he has never recorded an evp, I looked his name up after the paranormal state episode and found nothing mentioning him as an evp person. In some of the paranormal circles he is known as one who will do anything to get on tv even thought he does have a phd. He claimed the voice on the paranormal state episode fell into the top 10% of the classic demonic type. He couldn't even make out what the evp was saying. But after I listened to it to me the evp says "he's a fake" meaning Milione now there is an honest ghost.

I'm not thinking of the falling out between the people, that's bound to happen, but Ron was supposed to have been building custom equipment … perfectly suited for seeking out and identifying the paranormal., yet here we are a few years down the road and it appears ALL of his creations have been abandoned.
Why would this be ?
Did his EMF meter reject garage door openers and cellphones, thereby silencing any ghosts that Grant wished to converse with ?
They praised his abilites in the beginning, so I would suppose they found his items useful, but where are they now ?
Maybe Steve is saving them for his Academy.

I do understand that but, as I said, I believe they think they are above all that and could care less especially since they've been bragging about all the inventors creating for them who have NASA and MIT connections and then we have Britt with his geophone. I don't think Ron and/or his "inventions" have been actually "seen" since early on in 2006 but I could be wrong. Jason's been bragging a lot recently on Twitter about new equipment that will blow everyone away and actually posted a photo of something but right now I can't remember now what it was. Should be interesting.

Well, if he uses the new piece of equipment as well as he used the camera to take the picture of it, I'm not holding my breath as far as any new, profound developments in the world of ghost hunting LOL

Sure:
We had the geophone giving evidence of vibrations.
We had high-tech flour yielding evidence consisting of footsteps.
We had Jason using a slightly more scientific piece of wonder by placing his head to the floor to listen in another episode yielding evidence of splinters in his ear.
I'm sure there were others :)

Barry came out with the 360 mike that was supposed to have computer processing so we could get the exact direction of any sound. As you recall we got some great evidence there !
Don't recall seeing any footprints, but then again if Casper can walk right through walls I don't think the flour on the floor will give him trouble.

I remember that ‘flour on the floor’ episode, I think it was in some attic and Jason sprinkled flour on the floor to capture footprints. I think he mentioned it’s something they like to do once in a while, but that was the first time I’d ever seen them do it. And sure enough, a print showed up. It looked like a boot print, so I guess ghosts wear shoes. Overall, it gave me one of those ‘I saw that coming’ feelings.
