Saw this mentioned the other day at TAPS18 forum. It must be a real moneymaker for SYFY, else why renew it.I do however like to see the public places they go,since many of them i'll never get to visit, like the Lemp Mansion for example.I hope they do continue their private investigations like the Scully House.

I would also like to see maybe some follow ups to the Goldfield Hotel, Fort Mifflin,to see what if anything has changed ghost wise. They went to San Agustine Lighthouse a couple of times.

It would be nice if they investigated the Robert Eugene Ott house in Florida, where the infamous Robert the Doll used to reside, or Bara Hack, which is in New England, and is a ghost town, but which is said to have paranormal activity.Though that presents it's own problems as it is out of doors and you would have contamination from night noises like tree frogs, whipperwills and other animals.

Maybe even a follow up visit overseas.Go back to Leap Castle and the Hellfire Caves.Maybe this time even investigate Luciedeo Abbey, since GHI did the Spaulding Inn.Speaking of Luciedo, Lidia Bastiannich on her tv show, went there and talked to Count Paulo about the rice grown in the region, and was shown having lunch with the Count and his mother the Countess there at the Abbey, but no mention of spooks.

I'd rather they stayed away from the commercial sites…especially the ones that are renovating, down on their luck, about to be foreclosed etc…the investigations at sites like that are somewhat suspicious in that they strike me as Economic Stimulii rather than unbiased investigations.

So this years drinking game is when any of the cast members breaks one of the 5 ( 7? ) qualities of TAPS members ?

In episode 6 Tango says they are  Professionalism, Scepticism, Honesty, Composure & Respect

Iin episode 7 Jason  lists them as  Scepticism, Technical Knowledge, Honesty, Composure & Patience

Will there be a betting pool ?

How long until the first breach, which it will be and who will do it ?

An over / under for the total number and between each commercial break ?

Here's a video of them breaking most of them -

Anyone have an idea  what that gadget Grant is holding is ?

Okay, the Doctor has shown me a still from the video and to me it looks a bit like a Spectran EMF hand held spectrum analyzer. http://www.spectran.com/Handheld_Spectrum_Analyzer.htm

They come in quite a few models, the difference being the maximum frequency detectable. If you get a second RF spectrum analyzer to go along with the EMF model, you pretty much have the entire spectrum right up to the satellite bands at scrutiny in your hands.

This raises a few questions. One wonders how long have they had these for. Will we see them in season 7? Does Grant have any idea how one works? Have they been playing dumb for the TV show?

The potential for equipment misuse is high for one of these if you don't know what you're doing. In the hands of a fool, every spike will turn out to be paranormal for sure. In the hands of a competent user they are a very powerful and useful tool.

Was able to track it down – this was a deleted scene from S05E20 Oakland Hall in Eatonton GA, the episode aired last November.

We never see it in the scenes that aired, Grant is walking around with his KII .  In one scene he's ignoring it while the little bugger is flashing it's brains out on the table behind him.

In another deleted scene from that episode, Steve is doing the knife trick where you spread your fingers and stab quicky between them ( using a butter knife ). He can actually do it well, BUT I hope that was not some kind of antique table under that tablecloth that might now have 50 or so little dings in it.

I too hope that wasn't some antique table they were stabbing at, but i don't think we will find out.

yeah, maybe they should stay away from the commercial places, though it would be neat if they came to San Antonio and checked out the Menger Hotel downtown.Teddy roosevelt stayed there amongst many other famous people and is said to have recruited some of his Rough riders in the hotel bar.

Still would like TAPS,aka Ghost Hunters to go back to Leap Castle, The Ruins at Lisheen and the Hell Fire Caves. Hope it is a good season.

In the first set of GHA they hammered on "tagging" and "real-time review" (which we had rarely seen GH use, if at all) In the GH season following it I think we saw more tagging and real-time review than in the previous seasons combined.

In the second set of GHA they hammered on the 5 TAPS qualities. So, maybe in Season 7…

Well they're gonna have to get rid of a few team members. Grant is dismissed for dishonesty, the girls are dismissed for swearing, Steve and Tango are dismissed for clowning around, Dustin is dismissed for his Beaker haircut, Jason is dismissed for lack of technical knowledge, as is Joe Chin. That leaves…. ?

The camera crew! It'll be a much-improved show. Kinda like "Garfield Without Garfield."
