This will be an interesting episode. Or, rather, at least the first 5 minutes of it will be. It will be interesting to see how they spin their going to this location. The gang heads to the village of Waipahu in Hawaii to search for the spirit of a little girl who was burned to death after being tied to her bed.
We all know that TAPS was over in Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor investigation and that it is quite unlikely that they investigated this place on a second trip. Let's hope they tell us the "while we were here, we also decided to check out…" route rather than the DT tact of "We hopped back on a plane and flew 6300 miles back to the place we were at last week."

This is apparently a two-parter because in the second episode, Steve (who wasn't in Hawaii) stubs his toe or something after a ghost turns the lights off and throws something in the air.
So, be sure to watch closely, cause the darn cameraman can't seem to find where Steve is to focus on…it's much better to get Tango's reaction than to maybe, I don't know, document what is happening to Steve or in the air so that an analysis can be made using more than three-tenths of a second of foot…oh, now I get it.

I've come to accept that whenever theres a huge OMG WHAT IS THAT or freakout reaction in the previews, its either caused by a bug, a bat, or some other creepy crawly. You can't fool us anymore, SyFy ::shakes fist::
Once again, Steve and Tango save the day with a few chuckle-worthy moments during the second investigation. Do I trust Ghost Hunters? No. But that doesn't mean I can't have crushes :) Will this become the next DUDE RUN moment?!
There was also some decent debunking going on this episode, in my opinion, with the shadow of the little girl and the doors slamming. However, I still don't hear the EVPs of the footsteps (I can NEVER hear those) and how did they get an entire sentence out of that mumbly EVP?
We also got flashbacks of the golden days with "TAPS, we're here to help."
Nosfer, I know sometimes you post show viewership and ratings and such. Where can I find these? I'm curious to know how many people are tuning into GH these days. I can't imagine the number is that high. Well, plus they don't consider people like me who watch episodes illegally posted on YouTube…

and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

I'll start adding this season's ratings…it's been up and down, about like last season give or take depending upon how much the episode is hyped (the ultimate evidence one, for example did see an uptick)
Door was nicely debunked, however I'm less convinced about the girl…that was fairly mediocre, yes, it COULD have been that, but it could have been a host of other things and to write it off just because Tango could run in a half-crouch…

I've only seen part of the show so far so I'll comment more later. The "tap tap tap" at the beginning of the first part (Hawaii) sounds like the chirp of the Asian gecko to me. This one also fooled GHI when in Asia. These little blighters have invaded all warm areas of the world. I assume cooler North America is still free of them? (considering none of the Ghost Hunters recognise the sound)

I believe Steve was not apart of the Hawaii investigation due to his extreme fear of flying (among numerous other things he fears)

Correct, they mentioned that during the Pearl Harbor episode and this one. See also: http://www.skepticalviewer.com…..t-tsunami/
