During the reveal of the super ghost evidence, it was quite remarkable how they did not mention the quite visible hand in those frames. Maybe because the hand was obviously carrying some piece of equipment emitting light, indicating that it was rather a crew member than a ghost? Their reproduction, which was supposed to demonstrate how different the footage looked in comparison to crew members walking by, was an insult. The original footage had a frame rate of maybe 2-4 frames per second. The reproduction with crew members had a frame rate at least 10 times higher. With such a difference in frame rate, it's no wonder that the results look different. They delibarately mislead the viewers. So, no ghost, just a crew member.
That pseudo evidence got so much attention that another grantism went through nearly unnoticed: Later in that episode, Grant captured another ghostly apparition with his camera. An apparition that looked to me like a piece of string or paper waved right in front of the camera lense. But hey, I'm just a layman, it certainly was paranormal… ;)

The cloth in front of the camera trick…notice how when it's being set up for the Reveal that Jason is edited in his description of it. He doesn't finish his sentence.
Since this show is about the Hunters and not the Hunted (judging from the amount of times we get close ups of their faces reacting to something just off camera) why do we not have the footage from Pilgrim showing this as well? That would show Grant AND the ghost. I bet they don't want to do that, though.

Wow, Nosfer, you just hit the nail on the head. I hadn't really put my finger on why this show bored me to tears anymore, but that's it. It's not really about ghosts or the paranormal, it's all about the team, who have all the personality of burnt toast. Some of them seem like nice guys/gals, but they're not terribly interesting, IMO. I always liked Kris, but even she's been assimilated now. The curse of Reality TV.

Yep, if you've watched season 1, it's like watching a soap drama with the tension between Brian, J and other cast members. It was never about ghosts. In later seasons they've turned it into happy families without the tension for drama, with the main focus still on the hunters.
It's a lot like the TV show "Storm Chasers". Sure they throw a few tornadoes in for good measure but that's not what the show is about. That's why it sucks too lol.
