Having gotten their obligatory private-residence investigation out of the way, the team goes back into their normal mode by investigating the abandoned nursing home of Hill View Manor. The indication is that employees have witnessed spirits, screaming, and shadows in addition to the ghost of a child who seems to be the Herald of Death since it would appear to patients just before they died.
Since the place is supposedly abandoned, I assume these are FORMER employees rather than current employees. Or, maybe they are just ghost-tour guides who would stand to benefit?
Hill View Manor is in Pennsylvania (New Castle to be more precise) and was featured not only on both Ghost Adventures AND Ghost Lab earlier but our Good Friend the Demonologist turned Curator also investigated there about a year and a half ago and declared it haunted. Even our other Good Friend Bruce Tango has been in on the action doing some of the events there.
As for ghost-tour guides, I'm serious. This is nothing more than a "prop up a place with publicity" investigation. This place WILL be found to have paranormal activity Wednesday night.
If you think I'm kidding, take a look here: http://www.hauntedhillview.com
So, this brings me to my "Things to Ponder" section.
GH goes to these places to help people. People call GH in to help them. (Or at least that's the party line) If that is the case, though, then were they not helped by the (at least) three prior noteworthy groups that came through, if not by the other events that have been held there?

You're right Nos.
Where's the money in having these idiots at the haunted location.
The owners have an investment here.
Last thing you would want is to have J&G, Chip Coffey, Brian, Zak, Ryan, Claudia etc, etc, etc telling your money makers to be at peace, go and cross on over, head towards the light.
Got an idea (you saw it here first).
Go to these places after these paranormal pinheads have left and tell the owner that ''Well, you've screwed the pooch and lost your ghosts."
"We're Paranormal Procurers and can get your ghosts and demons back for you (for a small fee, of course)."
"We're here to help".

Four words for them: Bring a flippin' camera.
Amy has this feeling about the hall and just looks…and of course sees something. No camera. Adam goes down to the door to check things and no camera and of course sees something. I guess the word sees should be in quotes, probably.
Then Adam and Britt keep seeing the window get blocked out, but do either of these genii bring a camera to bear? Of course not. Oh…that should be "Then Adam and Britt keep 'seeing' the window get blocked out…"

About 45 minutes in, after the commercial, J&G are walking around with Maddie and there is a supposed sound and Grant exclaims about it. "[What] the heck? Did you hear that?" and the camera is on Maddie fillming her from her left hind quarter and she is looking to her right at the wall. The shot pulls back and the camera pans a bit to the right and there is a black ball rolling near some bench/table to (our) right of the fireplace. It appears to be a black ball rolling. Is this what made the noise? And more importantly, who rolled it?
When this episode gets posted to YouTube I'll post a screencapture of it.

Alright, the GH crew is acknowledging that it was Maddie's ball that she was playing with. I'm calling BS on that. The ball was probably 20 feet away from Maddie and it was rolling generally in her direction. Someone else rolled it. That whole scene should have been cut because of the sound contamination. Yet, it wasn't. Grant still is going on and on about strange sounds. Like maybe a ball rolling and bouncing off a wall? Maybe that was the whole reason the ball was there and Maddie provides a nice excuse.
Jason says: Everyone is talking about this black ball and mass tonight. I will watch tomorrow for it. Thanks for heads up, maybe it's something we missed..
He and Grant were there so he should know what it was, yet he's going to "watch tomorrow for it"
And Amy says: It was a black ball in the cafeteria. Maddie was playing with it is all and it was still moving.
So Amy, who was not in that scene, knows all about it and what Maddie was doing and Jason, who was there, says he'll "watch tomorrow for it" and see if it was something they missed???
Anyone else saying "Butwaitaminute!"?

At 3:53
Grant: Can you do a really loud bang
[Noise] (at 3:58)
Grant: Did you hear it?
Jason: I did.
Now, tell me that that sound at 3:58 is not Maddie "coughing" or "snorting". It certainly isn't a "Bang"

And a BIG HMMMMMMM:
http://www.facebook.com/permal…..2887722130
"Business should pick up once the Ghost Hunters (TAPS) episode airs! Gonna make it a good one than the event ticket sales should pick up!"
And then read some of the posts by Jodi below who isn't too happy apparently.
"Jodi Focht first I NEVER said you owned Hillview, and second everyone but two people paid and that was not my fault. There were three teams there that night. And yes at the end when we were wrapping up I said "I'm surprised T.A.P.S. hasn't been here yet" and you said " I don't want that bunch of fakes here, they tried but they wanted to do too much b s and I said no way " I am sorry that you feel I ripped you off but I meant being told we were not allowed to help any spirits pass on and then being told that no one payed was bull. I offered to send you a list of the people who paid you in cash to prove I was not lying and you refused :("

Well, isnt this just a mess.
Lots of inconsistencies here on GH's part. I was half-watching this episode on youtube, and must have missed this. I dont remember much of the episode, I admit it. Now I'm very curious. I'll have to check it out again.
Funny though that they're being called out on it. There must have been quite an uproar if they feel the need to address it.

and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

Watch the video above at the following places:
3:15-3:16 and 4:15. Do those bangs sound anything like a ball bouncing on the floor or a combination of floor-wall (like when you used to play catch with yourself)? They are not what I would call a "bang" as Grant says.

Next one…Maddie's reaction:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..EDGjwPjrvg
11:40 on this video. I can't hear it as well on this as I can on my DVR'ed version. Immediately before she jumps and pulls back, I very distinctly hear what sounds like it could be a training-clicker (used for training dogs) ie: http://www.petsmart.com/produc…..Id=2751416
She seems to do a "heel" after the pull back.
Edited: Some info on clicker training… http://www.clickertraining.com…..r_training

More from Jason:
Commenting on episode that aired last night and everyone asking::
I know there was a ball that Maddie was playing with earlier in the night on Hillview case but I have not seen the show to say if it was that or not. That ball was in a room on other side of building.
On the other side of building? Earlier in the night? So, then the ball Maddie was playin with wasn't in the cafeteria. Amy says it was. Jason says it wasn't. None of these people must read each other's twits and all seem to be shooting from the hip. So if the TAPS founder says the ball was on the other side of the room, then what was the ball that we see in the cafeteria. And does it have anything to do with the ball bouncing sounds that Grant describes as "bangs"?

Now, Maddie's reaction again.
Here is a .wma file of the reaction. At 2-3 seconds you hear a double-sound, this occurrs right before the percussion sound that is Pilgrim's way of telling us something dramatic has happened, ie, it occurrs right after Maddie pulls back. You can also see this in the video I posted in #10 above…watch at 11:40 in that video for the big scene.
This is an excerpt from my DVR (clearer) and converted to a .wma file. Listen at 2-3 seconds for that double-sound.
http://www.skepticalviewer.com…..maddie.wma
Now, in this following one, I've isolated that sound, and then spliced in a double-click from a training clicker that I recorded. The first bit you hear is from the GH episode, then a pause, then a sound from an actual clicker. Clickers vary in the sounds they make, some are higher pitched, some are lower so it does not sound exactly the same. Additionally they were a bit further away and if GH was usin gone, it could have been muffled by being in a pocket, thus lower pitch, but you get the idea. Could Maddie have been "called" to make that reaction?

The return of the SFT and K2. Also the comment by Britt about the EMF being flatlined in the building using his other EMF meter. This really points to the K2 picking up GSM band activity, which the camera crew happily carry with them but is also pretty common everywhere these days.

I'm going to give them the benifit of the doubt on this one. Tailcap switch flashlights make the same clicking sound as theirs does.

I have one of those and it does click, although with the click sequence we hear, I think it would be a very fast Turn-On, Turn-Off. Jason appears to be the only one holding a flashlight and it appears to be on going down the hall, and it's on when he swings it up in front of where Maddie was after she reacts. It's odd that the sound was not noted. If it IS a flashlight, it's odd also that, of all times, it was at that moment that someone decided to click it on and off in rapid succession.

I'm only hearing two clicks on the GH wma. It takes two clicks to perform a function on all of mine, ie: either to turn it on or off. Also we don't know who else is nearby but off camera that may have a flashlight.

True, as we know there could be a number of other people there, probably 4 at least, counting Jason and Grant. The waveform shows 4 "peaks" though, which indicates a CLICK-click CLICK-click, a stronger one, a weaker one, a stronger one, and a weaker one. My flashlight's click is a lot weaker than what I hear, but there are different flashlight mechanisms, too, so some could be louder than mine.
What I find odd, though, is the timing. First the reasoning for turning it on and off rapidly like that, and also that an on-off, on-off click sequence that we never have heard before happening right before she reacts. The timing activates my spidey senses

Still time to sign up for the investigation here: http://idealeventmanage.com/hi…..manor.html
Really, though, the thing I wanted to point out is at the very bottom of that page. It's a disclaimer that probably should be put on the TV show, as well. It says:
All events are for entertainment purposes.
Hmmmmmmmm
