Remember a couple years ago when there was that Great American Ghost Hunt and, during the 2008 Live Halloween show, they announced the results of that contest where we all were supposed to vote for the spookiest place for them to investigate? Remember that, rather than try to decide among the final three and, probably because they were looking for any place that they could, they decided to investigate all three?

Meatloaf joined them on one of those investigations on the Island of the Salad Dressing last year. And, without benefit of any guest stars, they also came out to the Rockies and investigated Briarhurst, thus fulfilling two-thirds of their promised hunts. Do you remember wondering when they were going to do the third? You don't? Yeah well I forgot about it, too! But, tonight, the team goes to Little Falls, NY, and investigates at Beardslee Castle, thereby completing the trio of contest winners.

Part of what they try to debunk (ha!) are stories of orange lights. Britt is along for this one (@#%$!!)

Be sure to listen as Britt talks about working at an asphalt plant and having transformers blow up, sending orange balls of energy bouncing through the parking lot, thus proving that orange balls of energy do exist. Wonder if Beardslee Castle has any blown up transformers in their basement?

It appears there has been a switcheroo, this was to be Rhodes Hall this week which was to feature the "Real" "Housewives" Tonight's episode, though, is now titled Home is Where the Heart is. Will this be a two-episode night and Rhodes Hall one of them? I don't think so.

Given that this is an investigation resulting from the Great American Ghost Hunt Contest and that the other hunts (A Bat out of Hell Flying over Isle of Pines and Rocky Mountain Hauntings featuring Briarhurst Manor, both of which aired over a year ago) were full-hour episodes, I suspect this one will be, too. The "Real" "Housewives" will possibly be later on, but it's getting to be like taking a band-aid off, I just wish they'd do it already and get it over with!

I like the setting for this one. Recall how I mentioned in the last DT episode that investigations get an extra point if they include caves or tunnels…castles and castle-like structures earn an extra point, too. So, this episode will score at least a "1" (out of a possible 100)

Tonight's secret word will be: Energy (get your drinks ready)

So, one of the most haunted houses in America and it looks like it will only get a half-hour. Then off to Savannah…apparently. But I think Rhodes Hall is in Atlanta so probably not this one for the "Real" "Housewives"

So they dismiss the guy walking by with the plank. And Grant talks about hearing singing or something so someone could have been around. Now what does that say about potential contamination on site at ALL of their investigations?

Now I have to watch this …a guy with a plank ?

At least Waldo in the backgrund at the Baseball hall of Fame was ignored by the cast – now we have Grant acknowledging they have no control of the area ?   Just how sloppy do they intend to get ?

Looks like someone with a paper bag over their head.

"We don't think it's parnormal by any means, we just can't explain why that's there. "

Curious statement, since he keeps repeating that " If you can't explain it then it IS paranormal "

Unfortunately there have been a few posts deleted from this thread when the restore was done. One of mine that is no longer was:

Now, regarding that object in front of the camera at Beardslee. It appears from what Grant points out as being the top of the van, that it goes between the camera and the van, not between the van and the building, so someone had to have walked right in front of a known camera…or possibly was really intent on carrying whatever it was that he didn't see it.

It was raining pretty good so I wonder how the camera was sheltered, possibly that hid it from whoever it was? The object seems to be too rectangular to be a typical umbrella, but I wonder why someone was hauling something like that around in the rain at that time of night (unfortunately, I do not see any time stamp, another of my complaints)

Unless it was a makeshift umbrella (a jacket, blanket, sheet, etc) very squarely held up over someone's head. Someone under that wouldn't see the camera, but as I point out above, great potential for contamination when your equipment could be compromised so readily.

A big grocery bag would work as a quick makeshift "umbrella", too.
