Well, we had a one-week reprieve from Britt and KJ, but they're back tonight. Don't everyone cheer at once. As a balance, though, Steve and Tango also grace us with their presence. They must be going someplace good if they need 8 people for this investigation. What is the cause of this beefing up of the forces?

It's a warehouse in Ohio where violent paranormals are terrorizing employees. In fact, there have been attempted stranglings by these malevolent mists of the murky midnight hour. Wait a minute…violent? I thought they couldn't hurt us…Jason said so…never had a case where anyone was hurt by a ghost. Might these be Demons? Might Jason just not really know what an alleged ghost can allegedly do? (I'm putting my bets on the latter)

Another Banzai Britt run down the hall, hope he can see alright in the dark.

More shadow figures, and this one flicks around with the EMF detector. These guys need to make up their minds, do they produce an EMF or not. Come on, they've played it both ways and not once do they say "hmmmm, but at the Stanley we didn't get a reading, why is that?" I'm really starting to think I'm hearing squishing sounds when they walk! (look it up lol)

Oh, we're getting ready for Halloween, apparently. They are practicing their shirt tugs. Pay attention tonight folks, maybe I should hotlink the Britt and KJ List.

Sounds like this is a rehearsal investigation for their Halloween special then. Did I mention how I can't wait to see the Halloween special to see how they botch things up and alienate more fans?

I miss the days when these guys would actually TRY and debunk things and even if they purportidly had activity they would just say something like there is something going on here that is weird, what it is we dont know. Now they hear a pop or a knock on the wall and they first thing say "oh yeah, you have a residual haunting on your hands." Mo money Mo ghosts Tongue out

On Jason saying that ghosts don't hurt people it must be a demon. Jay and Grant have changed their definitions of so many terms they use over the years that I don't even know what they mean by some of them anymore. I remember in some of the earlier episodes they would get a lot of activity and go to the owner and say you have a poltergiest which likes to cause mischief. Then they would go to another house and get the exact same happenings and then go to that owner and say you have a residual haunting, it just occurs in certain areas and is not to mischevious. No difference between the two locations but they both get two different grades of haunting. They keep mismatching and mixing more and more. I remember one episode where Jay purporditly got hit and he claimed that some ghosts could exhibit force and be dangerous. Then he turned around a season later and told a client that ghosts are not dangerous, they can't hurt you.

Pain is weakness leaving the body!!!

Yes, interesting. As I've said, I wonder how many of these are desperate clients coming to them and how many they search out. Well, here's another one they sought. Despite Kris' story at the beginning.

All in all it wasn't a bad episode. I'd call it a relatively good one, in fact, if they had not brought Britt and KJ in.

I am glad Steve and Dave are back. For all their faults, they seem to be the most into it.

Charging into the dark, dodging around objects like pillars without the benefit of any vision-enhancing gear seems to be Britt's new "thing"

And, think about this one…if the shadows that Britt and KJ were seeing in the basement that seemed to be connected to the shirt tug were later debunked, what does that say about the shirt tug? Britt and KJ shouldn't have been brought back and should be shipped off to GA where they would fit in more.

I can take or leave fashion most of the time, and it has no real bearing on this episode, but what the heck got splattered all over KJ's shirt?

It was called The Chopping Block because Britt and KJ had their credibility decapitated. Again.

I suspect it was the elevator, unless the car area doubled as a chop shop.

Britt, on chasing shadows:

"Being asked by many why i chase shadows. I start first by trying to talk to the shadow to come to my partner & i, if that does not work we move slow and quietly & try to walk up on the shadow, if that does not work then my partner & i will split up move slow and try to corner the shadow, & lastly i wait for the right m…oment & then chase it down. i will ever catch one its more about trying to see where it goes to hide"

Stephen, in referring to his paranormal investigation, said: "Anyway, my pint-sized paranormal team did at least as well as TAPS did in this case. They found a disembodied voice (the overhead intercom), a number of ghosts (all of them decorative and made of cardboard), and one of them actually found an EMF spike in the paranormal romance section! I hereby proclaim all of them official ghost hunters."

Wait, wait, wait!  Hold on there Mr Skeptic.  Let's break this down…

"They found a disembodied voice (the overhead intercom)"

How you can be sure that is was the overhead intercom?  All of us know from GH that demons can disguise themselves as other things and beings and ghosts.  If demons can disguise themselves as ghosts…why not overhead intercom's?  You provide no evidence that it wasn't a demon.

"a number of ghosts (all of them decorative and made of cardboard)"

Really?  Was this so-called "cardboard" tested by an independent lab for verification?  Instead of cardboard, could it have been instead hardened ectoplasm?  Again, no evidence that it wasn't.

"and one of them actually found an EMF spike in the paranormal romance section!"

Wow…how much more proof do you need?  Obviously an EMF spike signifies a ghost.  Watch any GA show to verify that.  And it didn't physically manifest because you Stephen…a skeptic…brought your "negative energy" to the investigation and prevented the ghost from appearing.

Just another case of skeptics not seeing what is right in front of them.  Man…you skeptics just don't believe nuthin', do ya?

"Skepticism is not a position, it's a process." -Dr Michael Shermer
