To pick up where the No Live Halloween Show This Year? thread left off, here are the Nielsen ratings for the week ending 9/6/09. Notice that once again, GH is no where in the top 25 and NCIS has beaten them in their 9:00 p.m. new episode time slot since GH returned with their new season. In fact, NCIS has also taken the 8:00 p.m. slot again as well against GH re-runs. Leverage has now entered as the second most watched show at 9:00 p.m. which leaves GH exactly where?

Gee spongebob is popular. Does this reflect the average mental age of cable viewers?

Hmmm…. Not quite sure Learjet. At least one of my top favorites (Leverage) which is now on hiatus until January, was in the top 25. For that one, you need to have your wits about you. The only other show I watch occasionally is O'Reilly but it does look like it tends to run that way.

Although not a huge fan of Spongebob, I am a fan of the Penguins of Madagascar. I guess that exposes my mental age, doesn't it?

Spongebob kicks ass!!!! :: did i say that out loud? ::
I must say I have 3 kids, and I am Sooooooo tired of iCarly, Suite life on deck, sponge bob, penguines… etc etc. I was tied down and forced to watch the Wizards of waverly place movie. Just shoot me please. I have to take credit for at least 2 TV's on in my house at any time watching those shows. My kids eat that stuff up.
The only "real" shows I watch anymore are DT and GH, with a sprinkiling of tech/science shows from Sci/NatGeo/Discovery. How sad is that?

Bobarino,
That's not sad. It just means you are a good and patient dad! I can only claim 2 out of the top 25 and only 1 occasionally. My other vice although it's just over the 25 mark, is Psych. At one time the NFL was on the play list until Vick joined the Eagles. Sadly, now it depends on what they are broadcasting in the Philadelphia market. DT is now back up and running but GH is relegated to being recorded for oh so many reasons.
