Maybe the taps heard were actually the keepers on the storm window!  *Gasp*  could it be that simple?  Actually, what about the old style of keepers where you just turn a clip 90 degrees and it lets go of the storm window, I remember ours in South Dakota and they didn't seem to make much noise, however, without the help of someone else, it would be very hard to remove the storm window without noise, like banging against the sill.

But with as many as 20 people as stated before by others with experience with the crew, it's very possible that they had more than enough to quietly take off the storm window.  But remember, what held ours on in South Dakota were from the early 70's, kind of like a wing nut.  Just thinking about those winters…Brr!!

This looks to be a "lar production" and we beat this thing to death in the articles section of the site. According to the date, this was posted on the 15th, LONG AFTER we discussed this. The Doctor I believe made first mention of it in the articles area on the 3rd and we discussed it then…you might just head over to that part of the site so we don't rehash it here.

LOL, although technically, now that I look at it, I think the episode started getting beat to death first here in the forums and then we moved over to the Articles/Comments section and finally put it out of its misery :)

…and somewhere in the distance, the soft sound of "Taps", played by a lone bugle…

Or is that TAPS? Or "Bat Out of Hell"? Undecided

It's like I always thought, a lot of what Taps does is a lie.  There may be some things that aren't staged, but stuff like seeing shadows and apparations that no one sees but Taps is a bunch of C.R.A.P..   How do you insert links and pictures on this forum.  I've tried but to no avail!

I know, it's really sad when people have to make up things. Kinda hurts the field. TAPS claims that they are the ones who gave the field credibility.

Agreed Nosfer and BD, especially when one makes up a lot of "C.R.A.P." about a location near my house called the Upper Springfield Meeting House and then deletes the name in their post.  Hmmm…..Undecided

I am changing this post, I know it is probably against forum policy, but I would rather put this in a better light.  I deleted my name, and the Upper Springfield Meeting House, because I would like to see anyone living there, which I believe is the caretaker, now, to have there privacy.  And anyone else living in that area.  And anyone else who is into ghost hunting that is reading this thread, please do the same.  Try and respect other peoples privacy and don't invade there privacy.  I do not advocate invasion of privacy. I thought by trying to delete my name I could get rid of some of the thread having to do with the place I am referring to. I am new to this forum and I've been trying to get use to embedding images and links, and other stuff, but to no avail.  The story I told you is true, it happened and my brother was with me and if you don't believe me you can talk to him.  I haven't talked to him in a while, so you could trust his word.  There was also another individual there right after it happened, and he can be contacted to, he wasn't there, but he came along right after it happened, we told him about our ghostly encounter, and he did not want to go in the place because he didn't want to see what we saw.  I can also tell you that wasn't the only time I had a ghostly encounter at that place.  There was another time to, but I won't talk about it, because I don't want to raise any more ghosts.  I lived in that area for many years as a youngster.  When I lived there that place was referred to as the "Old Quaker Meeting House."  I didn't know the real name at the time, and I believe it had a roof on it, no windows or door, and no one lived there.  It wasn't very well recognized like it is today, and it looks in much better shape now.  Good thing, because it would have probably fallen apart.  But, it was a fun area to grow up in, I may make it back there some day.  But,  there are plenty other grave yards and churches in America, and I am sure they all have there stories.  To anyone who lives in or around that area please do except my apologies.  I never intended to let this get out, I was asked about the location and I think I told a little more than I should have.  But, the area I am referring to has a lot of history, so if your into history it would be a good place to research.  New Jersey is a beautiful state.  If you ever visit that area, there is a lot to see.  And you may find a few Ghosts there.  This will be my last posting.  I told you my ghost story, because you asked, but please don't count it in with Taps, because my story is true.
