Ah, alicat said Kris' visit was after the investigation by three weeks, and that Kris did mention Hopkinton, NH, but didn't the investigation only really talk about a moving rug?  I know that the MacNeil's experienced much more according to Leigh's postings, but I just remember the visual apparitions mentioned, the clock and the rug (what GH listed that is), I don't know, since the timeline is so off by alicat's findings, (who is on top of everything!!), (meant in a good way), that still the USGS visit was a chance opportunity.

Maybe alicat knows if they were in the VA area for another investigation at that time?  Ah, after gleaning through the thread again, she says they were in the area for the Lee-Rendall case.  So I agree with what she said above, it was an opportunity just to grab some filler for J & G regarding the MacNeil case.  Probably drove by the place and someone got on the walkie or phone if J & G flew and were home already with the idea.  Boy, with speculation like this, who needs ghosts! ;-)  (on my part alicat, so keep the claws in please, this old cat is beat up enough) :-P

I think Concord would have been much better too, but the probably drove past that sign and just went in and got stock footage on earthquakes, hoping to use it somewhere, as alicat pointed out, the timeline was all wrong, as did others.  I don't believe they specificly talked about NH in that interview, so I doubt it was even for that episode, but an opportunity they used maybe while on another investigation or coming back from another investigation to get that stock footage, the PR lady only really spoke of an earthquake in Manassas, VA.

No, Kris specifically mentions New Hampshire at the USGS…it was stated as "recently did a case" there which is why this had to have been filmed afterward. So it was probably done as filler for this episode since they were in the area to do the Lee-Fendell case…the only possible time _after_ the NH episode that they were there. The Mudd investigation was prior to NH so it couldn't have been then. The only other possibility is if some yet-unaired episode shows them in the vicinity of MD/VA at another time after 20-24 April.

It was done as an after thought because, as I mentioned before, Grant does not even mention the interview with USGS in the reveal…Reveal having been done about 25 days prior to the USGS interview.

I guess you missed this little followup, and like I said, I agree it was probably a chance sighting of the place during the Lee-Rendall investigation, I do try to fix my big boo-boo's and this was one of them, at first I also though alicat said the USGS visit was prior, luckily, I found that before I posted it!

Cheers and Thanks for keeping me on my toes!

I guess you missed this little followup,

I did indeed :) …unfortunately the post I responded to was the last one on the page so I didn't see the correction in the next one on the following page.
