I posted this in the Titanic forum as well for everyone who might miss it.

It somewhat explains the reason for Sci Fi re-running the episode next week just before the J&G commercial.  What a lead in.  Guess that's why they had GHI investigate.  One hand washes the other and the other and the other . . . . .

Alicat- Thanks for the link.

Here's my favorite line- "Next week, in a special crossover episode, the Ghost Hunters International team is called in when Jason and Grant need explanation for the bizarre activity around their newly purchased inn, located in Whitefield, NH."  Wow…the words "bizarre activity" keep echoing in my head.

Anyway, I also thought it was odd that the article gives a great deal of information about SCI FI except anything about their name change to SyFy.  Weird, no?

I thought the same thing about the name change.  No mention at all.  Are they just going to spring it on the viewers?

The ratings show that Collargate had little to no effect.  The ratings might continue to be high because the other paranormal fare consists of PS, which many people find to be ridiculous.  So that leaves people interested in the paranormal only one other option–to watch GH.

When I read that Paranormal Cops is going to use a medium that made me immediately lose interest.  Sad to say, but GH still is the best we're going to get.  Switching from hauntings to other fringe science subjects, Monsterquest is pretty decent, at least much of the time.  As for UFO Hunters, forget it.  Starting out with the premise that UFOs exist (as in otherworldly craft, etc.) and then swallowing any evidence whole as supporting that belief is against all the rules of scientific research.

If 50 million people believe a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.

"Next week, in a special crossover episode, the Ghost Hunters International team is called in when Jason and Grant need publicity for their newly purchased inn, located in Whitefield, NH."

I think my corrected version is more accurate.
