I have to say, I never saw this before but thought everyone would like to read the claims here that Jason made as to the makeup of TAPS and their experiences. The interview took place early on and apparently just after one of Brian's exits and evidently before they went to Ireland.

Too bad they had to turn all that great evidence over to the Church. cough cough
What can you tell us about the Halloween special?
Um, we caught Satan. Just kidding! We filmed down in Savannah, Ga. I think it's going to be a controversial episode.
Boy, he sure got that one right. Ah, the Brewery and the Pool Table scene

Any plans to visit Salem? We've got a seventh generation pagan in the group who would love to go over there, but she just feels the place has been too commercialized. Maybe next season.
Because…next season it won't be too commercialized or GH will be just as commercialized by that point? Not really clear on what is being said there…
And, this could just be me, but in the main photo at the top…is Grant looking a bit like Moe from the Stooges?

I could say what he looks like with Jason standing behind him but that might make the moderators angry

What's the profile of the average TAPS member? TAPS is made up of so many different people: psychiatrists, forensic scientists, nuclear physicists, police officers, biologists, lawyers, doctors, even stay-at-home moms. We've even got people from the FBI and Secret Service, the Department of Defense, but we can't show those people on TV because, of course, they're classified.
Why "of course"? Of course they want to stay anonymous to avoid:
a) public ridicule
b) jeopardizing their careers
c) replacing their crack-addicted, homeless lowlife relative as the new black sheep of the family
d) all of the above
|
Hee hee hee! "Get her!" That was your whole plan, huh, "get her." Very scientific.

Dr. Venkman,
My thoughts exactly. Classified? Just another way of saying something yet absolutely nothing. Sort of links with their working with and gaining respect from NASA and MIT people who they say they are working with on new equipment we're going to see. I guess like the Geophone Britt claims he invented but was already being sold by Ghost Mart? Given what we've seen thus far, I believe in saving face and I'd want to be a classified person too.

Tsk! Tsk! You don't believe them?. . .they have people at NASA and M.I.T. working on new ghost detecting equipment also. You know, I caught Bigfoot and keep him in the barn. No, cannot post a pic cause it is classified.
Seriously, I choose D is my answer.

Say I buy all of that. Even the "classified" ones…you know which one really gives it away? The forensic scientists. After watching any TAPS investigation, you're telling me a forensic scientist wouldn't go absolutely insane with their methodology? If he was on sight, they would literally have to tie him down to his chair. He couldn't take it. In fact, they would not only have to tie him to the chair, but actually turn the chair in the other direction because it would be torture for him to watch it.
And I'm sure the nuclear physicist is nodding in approval when they spout off about their theories on EMF's too.
I'm sorry everyone…but…I'm calling Shenanagins! Yes, shenanagins has been called!

Revenant you are to polite but shennanigans indeed. Though I can except the idea of some college grad with a science degree their excuse for a scientist I have a bit of hard time indulging them in their delusions of grandeur with the NASA/MIT link. I think NASA is a little more worried about the Hubble staying up in space and not doing a Spacelab into earth then these two morons and their silly show.
I love there "I'd tell you but I'd have to kill you" explanation of why they can't say or show their government members. PLEASE!! If such members did belong to TAPS they wouldn't even bring it up. This is like a school yard braggard telling everyone how he hangs around with the cool older kids but won't let you know or see when they supposedly hang out.
DEAR LORD THIS IS ME PLEASE SEND ANYONE DOWN TO TALK THESE WEENIES OFF THE AIR!
