I like the idea of Twitter… but I get bored easily. The part that I love is that I can be updated on what my friends are doing but I don't have to spend every second with them. I have a lot going on (married with 4 kids plus I work!) and don't get to spend a lot of time with them. The part I don't like is that I don't want to know EVERYTHING about my friends, haha. It is fun if you think of it as a social thing and don't take it too serious.

Think Alicat hit it on the nose: more (FREE) advertising for Spalding Inn and looks like more hype for the show.

Okay, went and peeked. Jason is posting pictures of himself and his dog-a beautiful German Shepherd.  Also posted a pic of his very expensive looking coffee pot–though the time on the coffeemaker (looks like 8:33) and the time he posted the pic (4:50 am) are way off.  Funny, happens to their film footage also!

I have and am on twitter, I Asked Grant if he was an actor playing an investigator, or a Actor playing a plunber, or a Plumber acting like a investigator, and a actor. He wrote back and said I'm not an actor. When I asked him about the Fraud that he was committing and the lies he was telling about the show. I got NO answer. I have watched all the tapes out there on Youtube. AND I will Also investigated the K-II Meter. Let me tell you, If that equiptment was so great don't you think that the U.S. Government would have it.. Well they don't. ….these two have been dupping the public for years now. THey are not a NOT FOR PROFIT org. Because if they were there sights would say WWW. TAPS.ORG. not Dot COM. …;…. Now the Spaldin Inn  is haunted amazing not even sure if they own it… Have to check Public Records at the County Clerks office.  They say that they get free Gifts sent to them are they reporting that on their Income tax? Now Meatloaf is going to be an investigator in an upcoming DHOST HUNTERS  what a joke… the worse thing about this is that they have so many people scammed  and then the little kids that trust them and buy their stuff      for inflatted prices…..Grant says that  the membership  pays for his trips…. And all of them fly except Steve…. I just can't wait for the big FALL! I will laugh my ass off……Oh on twitter they have thousands following them .. But between the three of them Tango Grant and Jason they only follow each other!………I wish that people will get on line and place the Videos  on their Myspaces, Twitter, and facebook… For all to see…..Go to Youtube type in TAPS LIES and look at that tapes…..Thank you Peace out!

.org vs .com vs .net doesn't mean ANYTHING anymore. I've seen churches and other entities with .com

lew7rch– welcome to the board.

I've watched Dan Bell's TAPS LIES videos. I like where he's coming from, even though I don't know if I agree with everything he said. On the other hand, I personally don't badger Jay and Grant, via Twitter or otherwise. They will not admit anything, and I don't want them to be able to claim persecution.

You're right that TAPS isn't (or at least wasn't) a registered nonprofit. Allison Smith investigated that on her web site here. On the other hand, having a .ORG domain name is no guarantee of nonprofit status, or vice versa; I own several .ORG domain names for entities that are not registered nonprofits, and a nonprofit that I am involved in uses .COM as its primary domain.

And apparently when Jason says "his good friend" it is just a figure of speech for him.  He no more knew Meatloaf before they filmed an episode than I did.  MeatLoaf, a guess on my part, is reviving his career, and exposure is exposure.

You can tell how low on the totem pole GH is by a look at their kraft services table for the production.  Looks like snack time at a scout meeting.

Jason's Twitter: During set up I find meatloaf chilling at the krafty table. Nice..lol http://yfrog.com/3oimqj

If you can get past the windy weather, you can get an idea of what Meat Loaf thought of the GH "kraft services" at the NY shoot.  He's right on point with his assessment.  Too bad Jason just doesn't quite get it and posted it on his Twitter.  I really believe he thinks Meat Loaf was joking.  Sorry Jason, he's not. As far as the 4th of July at the Inn, we know where members of TAPS/GH are spending their holiday:

Amy:  "Sounds like a lot of fun-filled 4ths happening out there. :) I'm almost to nh, were having lobster for dinner! Oops, I mean lobstah.about 20 hours ago from TwitterFon

New Hampshire bound for the holiday! What's everyone doing this weekend?about 23 hours ago from TwitterFon

Woohoo! Boarding again!! Have a great night all! Xoxo1:54 PM Jul 2nd from TwitterFon"

Reanna Wilson:  "Happy 4th everyone!! We are at the inn and praying the rain stays gone! The sun IS peeking out. Will it stay?about 1 hour ago from Tweetie

Today Grant's birthday, tomorrow 4th of July at the inn! Fun fun fun!!!!7:40 AM Jul 3rd from Tweetie"

And, as far as the boot camp flyers and posts (and possibly J&G's MySpace pages from comparison to these posts), looks like Britt's wife Holly (and possibly Britt) are responsible for them.  That would certainly explain the third person references on the posts on J & G's own pages.  From Holly's Twitter:

"Just finished the TAPS Boot Camp flyer. Join us July 11, 2009 @ The Granada Theatre in Ontario, Ca! http://www.tapsbootcamp.com5:55 PM Jul 1st from web"

EDIT:  FYI – The Inn's 36 rooms are not fully booked for the next Boot Camp at the end of the month.  When I say that, you have to take into consideration they also have to put rooms aside for the contingent handling the Boot Camp.  This means, deduct those rooms off the top of that 36 and they still have rooms available.

Hmmm, Just looking over their paranormal boot camp training schedule.
They're in SoCal this weekend, no not J&G, Britt Griffith and Syd somebody.
Five hour class covering 31 items.
Let's see 300 minutes, 31 items.
2 times….carry the 4….subtract the 0….divided by 6.
That's 9.6 minutes on each item.
Hope these people are able to retain more than water for 5 hours.

Blinddog,

Britt and Syd did the classes at the Inn and Britt's wife, Holly, apparently comes along to help everyone sign in, etc.

Did you read the fine print in that "sweepstakes"?  Hope you did.  Looked like they could check you out real good and use the info they find if you signed up.  Trust me, if I was to go the NH, I'd be staying down the road for the extra $'s and enjoy being pampered.  Sitting on the resort veranda with a cocktail would also be in order.   I don't relish having people stumbling down the hall at all hours of the night, ghost hunting or otherwise.  I'm basically an even tempered person but I do have a very hot Irish temper (which, believe it or not, I do keep in check) but that would certainly make me explode.  But, then again, they are never full up unless they have a boot camp and even that's questionable since they block the rooms out before they even announce there is a boot camp.  They weren't even totally booked on July 4th even though Jason would like everyone to believe there were 500 people at the Inn that day/night!  I guess that's not much of a stretch for a 36 room inn in the middle of the mountains they claim is haunted while there is a spa/resort for a few more $'s and you need only walk one minute away.  Sure!  That being said, I'd really love someone from this board to win.  That would be a hoot!  Laughing

Ah, but what are the 31 items?  9.6 minutes is probably too much time for them to fill on some items.  How long does it take to explain how to jam a coin in the switch of a K-2 meter?  Laughing

alicat,
I'm not interested in a free weekend at Spalding.
It's the Stanley that I want.
Crawling though the basement, creaking around up in the attic, cruisin' the lobby and the hallways.
YEP, me and my 'good friend Jason' and my ol' bud Grant.
I can see it now.
Jason: Did you see that!?
Me: Nope.
Grant: Did you hear that?
Me: Yes, that was me, had the Tijuana Special for dinner, sorry.
Grant: I saw a shadow over there! Did you see that?
Me: Nope.
Jason: I'm catching a heat signature at the end of the hall with my FLIR.
Me: I wouldn't go down there, ya' got any Rolaids or Beano?

My time with Kris and Brandy.
Me: Hey, Kris, couldn't help but noticed the, ah, 'new accouterments' this year. Look it's pitch black in here, what's say we dump this Brandy chick and head over to the bar.

Time with Steve and Tango.
3 Stooges reborn.
WOO! WOO! WOO! WOO! Chasing Steve down the hallway with a spider in my hand.
NUK, NUK.

Yeah, my best moments will probably end up on the cutting room floor and the viewers will wonder what happened to that guy that was there at the start of the show.
But I'll have my picture of me and my 'good friend Jason' to cherish.
After that I'll hang around that fancy craft table they always put up.
Doritos and Vienna Sausages….Yum.

Blinddog,

Understood.  The Stanley.  I think Jason would tweet about you the entire time because I'm sure you'd provide them with a very interesting time.  You'd have to sign on to Twitter yourself so you could send us tweets.  I'm sure a number of us would sign on to send you things to say or do while you are there and questions to ask the kings of paranormal (although I think you could handle that very well on your own).  As far as Stango, I think we'd all be rolling in the aisles.  That would be just too funny.  You might just make the "best of" reel or at least the "highlight" reel at the boot camps.  Are you saying you'd end up like the guy who won that GH investigator contest?  What's his name now?  Undecided  Let me see.  Hmmmm…….

Yes, you too could eat at that fancy kraft table.  PF Goldfish, Chips Ahoy and Tang are definitely first class fare!  You can't see that?  I'm lost. Laughing
