This weekend I'll be on staff at BayCon, the SF Bay Area Science Fiction Convention. At 7:00 PM on Sunday, there will be a gathering for fans of Ghost Hunters. Last year, some actual ghost hunters showed up. It was quite fascinating. I will be attending, and will publish a report afterward.

Stephen,

Try your best not to incite the fans into a riot by using logic.  You know how they hate it when we do that…    Innocent

You're safer calling a Treky a nerd than these people having their gods questioned!!!

If the truth is out there than why haven't I found it yet?

Hey!  I like Star Trek!  :)

Here is a link to a Roto Rooter story.  When GH ends its run (as all things must) and if being InnKeepers doesn't work out, Jason and Grant may find they can do an entirely new TV series based on this news story.

"Quando omni flunkus moritati" ("When all else fails, play dead") – Possum Lodge motto. Jason and Grant should adopt it as their own.

Oh Mary, I just loved that story…I have 3 'indoor' cats and I know how crazy I go looking for them at times. So you're a fellow Trekkie, huh…I love it too.  Loved that line by RR "We're plumbers, not cat finders"….a Bones line if you ever heard one.

I use to be a 'Phile.' (as in X-Files) I just meant the danger level would be lower as frightening as that may sound.

Please…please…please…wear a jacket with a big collar and keep tugging on it with fishing line.  Then look behind you and keep saying "What the frig?"  Oh man…how can you not?

Fishing line- $3.89

Jacket with large collar- $49.95

Re-enacting the greatest paranormal event in GH history amongst GH fans- priceless

Get it on video and you instantly become the Patron Saint of Skeptics.  And I'm pretty sure that a few of us would probably even chip in for your medical bills too.

LOL wouldn't that be a hoot with the collar tugs.

I will donate 1 dollar to the doctor's bill. Keep in mind though the Australian dollar is only worth 0.75 or so US dollars. Don't understand why. Our economy is better than yours. Tongue out Sorry I can't donate more but I bought a lot of toys this week including a K2 meter for larfs.

Hey guys– I'm back, and finally have my computer set up again.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the Ghost Hunters BOF, since I'm on convention staff and was in about three places at once right then. So you don't need to pay my medical bills.

Stephen,

Glad to see you are back in one piece.  Now we can use the "medical" fund to pay for a lucky winner to stay at The Spalding Inn for a night!  Seriously, hope all went well.  Sounds like you had an busy time of it.  Thanks for fixing those columns.
