I'm thinking The Harlem Globetrotters and the cast of Gilligan's Island (living and dead)

How about the Undertaker and Kane as guest investigators?
Dead ones, Harry Price, Hans Holzer and Harry Houdini, all famous in their own right. Houdini would be a great debunker.Even if the three were alive today, doubt Jay and Grant would want those three on the show.

How about any of the guests from the old Scooby Doo mysteries? In addition to the Harlem Globetrotters you have Laurel & Hardy, Phyllis Diller, the three stooges…. can't remember the others, but I know there were more.

I'd go with Joe Nickell, Blake Smith, Hayley Stevens, Benjamin Radford, Karen Stollznow, Bryan and Baxter, and Allison Smith. Throw in Richard Wiseman and Ciaran O'Keefe while you're at it.
Deceased: I'd go for Vic Tandy, who first came up with the infrasound explanation of some hauntings. He performed real, scientific paranormal investigation with a sword, which makes him, if I may, an all-time badass. I'm also with HollyDolly on Houdini. Much of the modern skeptical movement is inspired by his example, and he was a truly great investigator in his day. Robert A. Baker also would be fascinating.

The Harlem Globetrotters and the Undertaker? Hmmm…
Then I looked at Stephen's list. It's a good list. A great list. A virtual Skeptic All-Star team. But man…no love for the home team…
What about that guy who used to write all those reviews for SV? You know, the one that I wanted to burn in the boat…er…I mean give a Viking funeral. Loghosti…Lagisto…something like that. Then there's that podcast guy…kickin' out the theories on higher brain functions and infra-sound and apparently chocolate that he doesn't feel it necessary to pass out to SV readers. What about Learjet who schools us on EMF and anything that has buttons or dials? Who wouldn't want to see him explain things to Stango? Remember when Nosfer discovered that the FoF team was 45 miles away from where they should have been while in England? That was pretty strong. And, most importantly, he didn't even have to leave his computer desk to figure that out. There are a bunch of people who have or currently post here who are pretty sharp. Remember Oubliette and all her work on Collar-gate? That was a nice piece of work.
I don't know…I think we have a pretty strong team right here. Throw in FORMERGHFAN and Dreamsinger and we start looking REALLY good.
I mean…at the very least…we'd be a pretty decent B team…
Man…no love for the home team at all…

man o man! you miss the point of Ghost Hunters altogether! Rev – your dream team would actually investigate! Ghost Hunters is about entertainment! Putting on a good show! Didn't you get the Pilgrim memo?

Ah, Rev, VERY important difference here.
What I described was my DREAM team.
The people you mention? THEY'RE MY TEAM! No dreaming required. (P. S. You forgot to mention at least a couple of people, including this chemist guy that posts here…)

Well, GH is listed as a "docu-drama." But really, anyone who has an opinion or..God forbid…disagrees with J&G has been shipped off to GHI. Brian, Andy, Donna, etc. So now, the show is flat. Lifeless. Not a drop of drama to be had.
Now…enter the SV "B" team. Tell me that wouldn't be instant tension. At first, some quiet disagreement over, well, pretty much every aspect. That grows into isolated shouting matches. Things calm down. Somebody from TAPS takes out a flashlight and proceeds to explain to us how they use it to communicate to the great beyond and everything erupts! Punches thrown, hair pulled, ego's bruised, noses bloodied. Good times. And absolutely GREAT TV!

My Dream team has a lot more Playboy Playmates, actresses, and super-models. Hmmm…maybe we're hoping for two very different types of television shows…
Stephen also said: "(P. S. You forgot to mention at least a couple of people, including this chemist guy that posts here…)"
I hate that guy. Always with the "Hmmm…'s" and the "Just sayin's" and the "…'s." Too much trichloroethylene. Rotted his brain. His posts just aren't what they used to be. Not sure why he just isn't banned. And if he asks anyone to prove whether or not he's a cryptozoologist or a demonologist or a paranormal expert or a psychic or whatever else…I'm going to shoot somebody!

I'm sure it won't be long before Professor Michio Kaku does a stint – that guy's on everything!
That would be funny… or Bill Nye, the Science Guy. Both of them debunking everything and rolling their eyes.
But for pure entertainment:
- Cassey Kasum – just so I can hear him say, "Zoinks!"
- The original TV cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Hulk Hogan and Mr. T
- Jessica Alba and Scarlet Johannsen (two hotties that'll stir the pot!)
- Andy Dick and/or David Spade
- Kat von D
In other news, "Chumley" from "Pawn Stars" to defect to Ghost Hunters next season …
naw, just kidding, but wouldn't he fit in perfectly?
