That would be the annual Halloween edition of the Today Show where the staff all dress up in costumes? Spalding Inn hoodies all 'round, then! Watch Jay bring a box of 'em.
Betting that at the very minimum, he'll be wearing one.

Well you can add Larry King Live (or in this case Larry King Taped) to your viewing pleasure (or not) at 9:00 p.m. EST on October 30th. Here's the latest from Jason's Twitter:
"Filming today for Larry King. Segment is to air friday night.t 7:10 AM Oct 26th from Twee"
I'm guessing they are doing a press tour in NYC.
Anyone want to place bets as to whether we see that familiar t-shirt or not? You've got to know they are going to bring up the Inn either way. Ugh!

I would absolutely love to take a field trip to the Spalding to check it out for myself! Who's with me?
It'll be funny to hear what Larry King has to say to them though…he's so blunt you never know what's going to come out of his mouth!

Okay guys (and gals too)! Check this out from Kris' Twitter. Check your local listings. Comcast in the Philly area is airing this tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/28, from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. under the bold heading of "Evidence of ghosts and spirits; shocking moments from around the world caught on tape; a Halloween expose."
@ & I were in NYC last wk to do a halloween segment for the Maury Povich show! Airs on the 28th! 7:08 AM Oct 26th from UberTwitter

Okay, the Kris and Amy show (or should I really say the J & G show) on Maury is over. J & G seemed to be "on air" in the clips more than Amy and Kris. Here's a brief synopsis:
It's 12:45 and Maury is saying there are actually professionals you can call about ghosts. He then proceeds to introduce Kris and Amy paranormal investigators from TAPS and Kris tells them what the initials TAPS stands for and that's it. Both are wearing turtleneck sweater dresses in orange (Kris) and brown (Amy). They look very nice and they do look and act professional.
However, they are merely there to introduce the clips – nothing more. It took all of about 3-4 minutes total. Here's what transpired.
They introduce each clip and make a brief comment or two afterwards mainly explanations telling you what they want you to see (like J & G).
First we see Pat at the Mudd House – Jason is telling Pat about the termal and showing the "hoodie" clip. They say the cameraman was behind J & G and no one else was around that could have caused "hoodie".
Gaither Plantation – Jason and Joe going to the attic and the famous "flour" episode and the cabinet door on the server opening. Some scary stuff there to be sure!
Now it's the Titanic/Aquarium reveal and the scene of Grant getting up and then "pushed down to the ground". They also are shown playing the audio and telling that woman it's saying "no, please wait". (It sounds more like Jason every time I hear it!)
Basically, ridiculous clips. This is the best they could bring to the table? I was actually waiting to see the iceberg and the pronouncement of a cold spot clip so I was disappointed.
So, if you haven't seen it yet, you might just pass. It was worthless. The rest of the show – typical Maury and the audience lapped it up. Oohs and aahs were the order of the day. Sad, just very, very sad.

Sadly, I'm thinking there are probably a lot of us who will be there "along side you" on that one. I guess after tonight we have Larry King as well. I must say though, Kris and Amy did dress and present themselves nicely. It was nice to see.
Oddly, the entire show was a mixture of odd segments. It started with a woman showing clips of supposed paranormal activity and making outrageous claims as to why they were true. This was followed by a woman from a morning show (Elvis Durand and…?) showing clips that she claimed were real and clips that were made up by members of Maury's staff and asked the audience to determine if each one is real or not. Unbelievable! There was also the obligatory orbs are real and cemeteries are known and obvious places for a lot of paranormal activity. Funny thing is the audience can't tell the difference and the majority think everything is real. They actually had a bug (looked like a firefly) which she claims was an angel of some sort that a woman caught on film. Heck, they even zoomed in on it! Wonder if it's supposed to be Tinkerbell (sorry Disney)?
They then went into "scary real life moments" that happened on tape and not the paranormal.
After the Kris and Amy segment, the show went into talking about the trend of sexy Halloween costumes that are not only being worn by teens but by kids @ 8 and up.
Overall, as I said, typical Maury. They even put up a telephone number where people could call in and say if they believed in ghosts. Why? I haven't a clue. The show is over and they ran two commercials for it. What was the point? There are no other ghost themed shows scheduled. I'm guessing it was to fill in time.

Would have been more interesting if Amy had jumped up and said "I'm 110% sure Joe Chin's my baby's daddy"!

Looks like showtime on the Today Show tomorrow is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. EST
That's no guarantee so don't yell at me if it's a little before or after.
The extended "entertainment" portion comes after the "hard" news which ends at 9:00 a.m.

I love that,it's great! After all, that mainly seems to be what they show on that program. They should have shown on the show some scary paranormal tapes. Like the one from the investigation of the San perdo Haunting were one of the photographers gets hanged by the nasty ghost there. Fortunately the guy gets saved, thank goodness. There was also a video tape from the show,That's Incredible to that's very interesting. The video was taken out in California in a new house were the people were having activity.
You see this black human shaped figure, darker than a shadow in the house, messing with the cupboards and throwing stuff around. You see it move towards the camera, and then that's the end of the video.Yes,this was a real video.Never did they follow this up with more information on the location. I mention that in regards to Maury's scariest moments caught on tape.
The video clips the girls brought could have been better. They certainly could have used the San Augustine Light House, or maybe some of their other stuff.. Well at least they acted professional, i would think they should have been able to do more than introduce clips. maybe talk about how they decide to do a particular investigation, and demonstrate some equipement and it's uses. But in any case, way to go girls.

HollyDolly,
First of all, I'm at a loss as to your comment in response to BD's jest "I love that,it's great! After all, that mainly seems to be what they show on that program." Are we watching the same program?
Second, if you did see this show, which I'm really not quite sure from your post that you did, what is the basis for your comment "Yes,this was a real video."? Can you elaborate how or why you know this to be true? I watched this show and never got that impression and was merely shown along with other clearly manipulated videos as paranormal in keeping with the theme of the show so I wouldn't wonder why they never gave a location.
Last, with regard to your comment "maybe talk about how they decide to do a particular investigation, and demonstrate some equipement and it's uses.", I don't think Kris or Amy is capable of talking about either subject let alone demonstrating equipment and it's uses. We have already had demonstrations of how inept GH/TAPS are in this department.

Well, I just watch J&G on the Today Show and wow….first of all, they expounded on the "high EMF" theory which we've all grown to know and love!
The best part though…Jason said, in response to a question about paranormal investigating as a "skeptic" (and this is a direct quote…I wrote it down!) "If you're willing to say anything's a ghost, you're hurting the field."
Who does he think he's fooling?

Judging by that comment, Jason and Grant are killing the field.
