Thanks for all the Fort Henry links- looking them over really takes me back.  One of my elder brothers was stationed down in Fort Drum near Watertown NY for quite some time & our family took a couple of vacation trips with him up to the Fort at his request. It's a wonderfully preserved historic site, great for a gaggle of kids to crawl around & explore, which is the part I remember most.  Fascinating old Fort Henry deserved better; it deserved a Time Team ep not a slipshod GH one.  

FH had GH "investigate" to boost attendance at their Fort Fright events, I presume.
