Interesting. I wonder what determines what equipment they will use at a given site, or what team will use what. In this one, Steve and Tango are using a meter with a bit more credibility, one of the ones they used to use before they went K2 on us. This one actually has numbers!
When Grant is outlining the butt on the chair, he and Jason have the K2 in their group.
I find this somewhat curious and quite coincidental. The high EMF that gave Tango his headache (or so the story goes) is made more dramatic by showing the actual numbers and how high they are.
But Grant's butt outlining on the chair…the average viewer wouldn't get the effect as much if he were watching numbers go up and down as he moves the meter around. BUT if he shows the thing lighting up, much more evident to the viewer and easier for the viewer to mentally imagine the outline.
Now, is it just coincidence that each group had a meter that was best suited for the "right effect" for each of these incidents? Is it just coincidence that one group had one type and another group had another type? So much for consistency. Or was it all scripted?
