Good question since it does not seem to be valid "upthread" (see my quote) Jason DID mention BOTH SyFy AND _Pilgrim_

I was asked not to respond about it directly from Syfy and Pilgrim, They want to write something up and release it. We have nothing to hide so I am comfortable with that.

He does only mention SyFy below that but since he included Pilgrim above, I wouldn't read too much into it other than SyFy and Pilgrim is more to type and SyFy has less letters than Pilgrim… The "they" in "they want to write something up and release it" would refer to both SyFy and Pilgrim since they are the only two that could be considered the antecedents.

So, has it now come down to debating WHO will come up with a press release?  Aren't you really straying from the point?  Just because he wants to talk to Syfy means nothing.  It's merely a comment among many he's made referencing both Syfy and Pilgrim.  I think you are parsing every word here and if that's the case, go to it.  It makes absolutely no difference in this scenario who puts out any release as the bottom line will result in the same outcome.  However, if you feel better saying Syfy, be my guest.  It's a worthless point.

BTW, I thought you said all of this had been cleaned off the internet.  Am I correct in that?  The link you provided was from the Syfy board itself.

This particular posting I refer to now was on a thread that started on SciFi in 2007 – poking around the SyFy forums, it seems that many of the threads started recently on this topic have, to use their term, "been poofed" so it appears the curious are posting on older threads.

Perhaps you can tell me how exactly you know that Jason was called and told "to keep his mouth shut" and that he must go to them (Syfy) to discuss any changes in TAPS investigations?  They don't run TAPS.  Their show is GH not TAPS which is a totally different entity.  Yes, TAPS members are cast but Syfy, as I have stated time and time again, is the network, not the production company, Pilgrim.

If I ask my employees to do something, they know damn well I am telling them to do it.

When the subject is having a skeptic show up on an investigation and Jason says "This is something I want to talk with Syfy on doing"  you know he would be asking permission to change the format of his investigation.   Do you seriously think he would be simply asking them for advice on how to run a paranormal investigation – as you say, they are a network – what would they know ?

Not sure how much clearer that can be …
