Yes, they hang around no matter what, whispering in the windy trees, 'ch….ickens'.
Unless it happens to be an 'intelligent' haunting. Then they'll move in with Grant and Jay at the Spalding Inn.

"Quando omni flunkus moritati" ("When all else fails, play dead") – Possum Lodge motto. Jason and Grant should adopt it as their own.

There is a theory that spirits attach themselves to objects. So when they take down the building the spirits will follow the pieces.
Maybe they should collect a few choice items from the morgue and make an exhibition, next to a giant ice cube of course.

Hello, Tommy.
There's no evidence of the existence of spirits, so we can't say for sure what the answer to your question might be.
TAPS/Ghost Hunters certainly seems to think that ghosts should stay in the same "place", or even in nearby houses. See the "Manson Murders" episode.
Since ghosts have no material form, it's hard to see what would keep them chained to a particular spot. After all, the Earth is both rotating on its axis and revolving around the Sun, and the Sun is rotating with the rest of the Milky Way. Since a ghost would have no mass, and thus no inertia, it's hard to see how it would happen to stay in the same spot on the globe. Since ghosts aren't well-defined, there's no way of saying.

@Learjet
Watched yet another show the other night about the Titanic.
Was the usual litany about the ship, etc.
Then they showed a lab tech handling recovered articles from the ship.
I jumped from my chair and shouted "Good God woman! Don't you know those things are possibly paranormal!!
Apparently unaffected by my outburst she proceeded to exam them under a microscope.
No paranormal residue was found.
My scientific deduction is, they've run out of ghosts on the ship or the remaining ones are too lazy to make the 12,000 ft. swim.

Since this is a scientific discussion and we don't mean any disrespect to those who perished, scientifically blinddog50, I have to ask this: Would the ghosts on the ship or the remaining ones have to wear wet suits and tanks? Would you actually see the suits/tanks? Maybe, just maybe, that's what caused those bubbles in the fish tank at the aquarium they said were so suspicious in origin?

@alicat,
I think a more likely scenario about the mysterious bubbles is that they occurred during Jason's snorkeling expedition at the Aquarium and be attributed to him passing gas.
Sadly it has been reported that several rare species of fish died shortly after these bubbles were sighted.
Paranormal event by societal standards? Possibly.
Paranormal by GH standards? No. That's why only Grant will investigate with him.

Poor fish. What a fate! Maybe they made him do the additional "short" commercial for the Aquarium as payback. That could have been the pre-cursor to the Spalding Inn hour long commercial. I would say it was guilt but I know better. Paranormal there? I too think not.
Wonder if that PR Director is still at the Aquarium?
