I just found this article where there was an auction at Belcourt Castle back in Nov of 2008.  I wonder how much was auctioned off.

Thanks phillyk48.  Interesting they had a sale in November 2008 and they are having one again on top of putting the place up for sale.  Sad to say, she's consulted a psychic (from Ohio I think) who said she's been "in touch" with Mr. Tinney but you have to read the story.  It kind of reminds me of how older people get taken advantage of in these scams although she will eventually see the money (I hope) since they are selling the entire place and not just the contents as she was originally intending to do.   I'm posting several links here with some info as well.  Apparently the episode we saw in April was filmed in February.  Check this all out.

Learjet, it doesn't look like your chairs are ready for auction yet.  I'll let you know if I see them come up. Wink

If anyone wants to bid on the golden coach, it's being auctioned now.

http://www.prlog.org/10211397-ghost-hunters-at-belcourt-castle-airs-on-april-8-at-9-pm.html  "Newport's Belcourt Castle is home to unexplained phenomena for over fifty years. The TAPS investigation made in February promises to captivate those who tune in to the SciFi channel at 9 pm on April 8."

Some of what was sold in November 2008:  "There is a mansion quality brownstone planter with a foliate-carved plinth, a cement fountain cast as a massive scallop shell held up by mermaids, a set of twelve 18’ high polished rose granite columns from Union Station in Providence, complete with hand carved bases and capitals, terra cotta statuary, Indiana limestone, and a bronze church bell dated 1848."

StanTheMan:

Any word on the sale of Belcourt yet?  Haven't seen much but figured since you were in the area and your daughter had worked there for awhile, you might have heard.

Thanks.

Nothing yet.    In this economy I suspect it will take a long time.    The Castle is very expensive to keep up.    I will ask my daughter if she has heard anything, she lives less than a mile from it, and let you know.

Thanks.  I'm guessing it's still on the market too.  There apparently was a lot of work that needed to be done if I remember correctly.  Look forward to your reply.

So then nothing in this universe is really haunted, it's only the interaction with the interverse that is haunted. I can't imagine that intersection of the interverses where the interaction takes place is constant so we have interloping intersections with interverses where interactions take place intermittently. Hmmmmmm

Wait for it…..

Hi Nosfer,

I'm surprised to find the phrase "intersection of the interverses"…What does this mean? I heard this very phrase in a dream…and searched it. But yours is the only reference to it I can find. Can you help me? thanks!
