The gang goes to Peru tonight to investigate Chavin de Huanter which is a site of ruins that was built some 3000 to 2500 years ago. Apparently they are looking into a particular stone in the tunnels that is said to be a gateway between worlds. So, it looks like ghost hunting is getting a little too boring and they need to punch it up a bit by emulating Indy. Let's see if it works. Spiders, why did it have to be spiders? Oh, wait, Steve is still on GH.
The team also searches for Juan who is supposedly warning matadors. Something about coffee, probably. More chasing around in the dark and seeing figures clear as day which will probably not be caught on film. In other words, they're back.
I'm more interested in the first of these, not so much for the ghosts but from an archaelogical/historical point of view and the fact that any show with tunnels gets a point above a bullfighting ring.
One swig for every "Indiana Jones" reference.

Since Steve is ok with boats (the numerous ferry trips to lighthouses and Alcatraz), then he COULD, theoretically be in Peru…but not sure if driving to South Padre Island or Florida, then hopping a cruiseliner across the Gulf would be feasible.

Peru is, however, reachable from RI completely by land-based transport…no boats necessary…

Will Joe get bit?
Will Joe's partner (cannot rememer his name for the life of me for some reason) bite Joe? (Scott?)
Will the team do actual research?
Will the client be distracted by Kris enough to believe that no evidence is actual evidence?
Will the cameramen do the mandatory 3 crotch shots, 15 butt in tight jeans shots, and 33 cleavage shots of Kris and Susan?
Will the mini marathon of GHI episodes right before the midseason 3 premeire dissaude others from watching the midseason premier?
Will Robb and Brandy make a surprise appearance at the reveal only to walk away shaking their heads saying nothing when Barry says "Even tho we didn't find any evidence we believe their is paranormal activity going on here."
Tune in and see!!!!!!

Why would Robb shake his head at that? He did the same thing through most of Season 1.

Will Susan feel sick in a room, or even become possessed?
Will a single pixel in the dark manifest as a FBA in Barry's mind?
Will we be able to understand Barry without subtitles?
Oh it's so exciting, I can hardly contain my ectoplasm!

I'm not sure what Barry expected to find by testing a rock with a multimeter. Yet when the other devices go "ping" he's not sure what that means either. So why use them?

That wasn't a multimeter, it was a ghost-o-matic-detectorum. Wonder if he was testing voltage or resistance? Wonder if it was on?

It's even calibrated for Barry! (For the rest of us, the screen says "Bull")

From Paul on testing the rock:
"unfortunately, we couldnt get back to the Lanson to do more tests, plus we dont have the tech to really know whats going on"
Could say that about quite a bit of what they do, unfortunately.

Why would Robb shake his head at that? He did the same thing through most of Season 1.
Actually I remember a few times where Robb said even tho they had personal experiances that they couldn't say the place was haunted because they had no physical proof on camera or audio. That a personal experiance was just a personal experiance.
Now towards the end of season 1 and into season 2 it became every place was haunted no matter what but in the beginning it was much more subdued.
I personally think Robb left because he realized he couldn't do things the way he felt they should have been done for the sake of ratings. That and having his own team members from his Florida team being shown the door having to work with castoffs from GH. (Or maybe he ran out of toys in his bag of tricks)
To me Robb and Brandy were the only two I enjoyed watching on GHI because I felt they were really trying to legitimize it.
But that is my opinion

He would say that he wouldn't call it haunted, but he WOULD say that there was paranormal activity there.

True. I guess the term Paranormal Activity is the excuse to give when you don't find evidence of a haunting?
I have noticed alot of reveals on both GHI and GH have said paranormal activity instead of haunted, like its the little sibling to a haunting.
As for the episode itself, I was dissapointed that Susan, who has shown in the past she can speak spanish rather well if not fluently, didn't attempt any questions in Spanish to try to get a response for an EVP.

Kris is claiming that she asked questions in Spanish, but they didn't show them. Not sure I'm buying it, but okay…
