Have seen a few snippets of things here and there that point to Robb leaving the show. Not quite sure what to make of them at the moment, nor to their validity, but for a read on some thoughts from Critical Myth:

There was also a reference to something Brandy said on her Facebook about her and Robb leaving, but I could not find the quote that was made, only that she was not going to be in the last episode. Make of it what you will and stay tuned.

Robb seems to have " lost his faith" in the last episodes.

I suspect that a true believer would not go past the railing and dare the white lady to push him over, figuring that at least it would make great TV.

Even his "gadget of the week" routine could be a matter of him wondering if any of them would actually produce consistant results. Having to rely on one sylable, down in the mud audio artifacts they can call EVPs to convince the client and audience that they got some paranormal results has to wear on the investigators.

You'd think it would, wouldn't you. I know I couldn't do it And his grab bag of tricks, well, you pointed out the disappearing, reappearing, switcherooing around the table that they were doing with the instruments in the last one. How long can one go on being part of something like that? I guess it depends on the person…we know it can go on for several seasons in some cases!

One thing I noticed back during the Halloween show that Robb and Dustin(?) were in, those were the only two who seemed like they were actually performing an investigation, as it were. Much more so than the TAPS component was, which tells me a bit more about character.

I expect that Barry would have no problem. Since his background is in giving Ghost Tours, creatingand guiding the experience rather then doing any real investigating is his forte.

As the showman of the group, GHI would become more exciting to the viewer under his leadership.

Hmmm…the article mentions that Britt would take over for Robb (if Robb actually leaves/gets booted…whichever the case).  Personally, I don't believe the switch is an improvement.  Actually, I would view it has a step down.  Love or hate Robb, you have to admit that he was/is at least consistent.  I do not believe that Robb is Mr Personality, but I've always maintained that you could always off-set that by adding colorful characters.

Britt introduces new problems.  First…the absolutely worst ink on his forearms.  At first, I thought he was just terribly scarred and I felt bad for him.  Then, on closer inspection…it's just a bunch of barbed-wire.  Some of the worst forearm tatooing ever.  Second, and more importantly…to be a leader, one must have leadership qualities.  Has anyone seen that from Britt?  Has anyone thought "Yeah, that Britt guy…he's a leader.  People will follow him."  Something tells me…"no."

In any event, it should be interesting to see how this situation with Robb shakes out.
