And we return to Essex County Hospital. This makes another place that has been visited more than twice. From what we saw of Eastern State and St Augustine, the cadets are still not up to speed because they just aren't finding any ghosts…and we know that has to be from a lack of experience because when the Masters go to these places, they find things…
During a preview last week of tonight's episode, Grant was seen to say something to the effect that some of these people should just go home. You know, for once I have to agree with Grant! If Jane moves on to the next level, then this whole thing is rigged
Apparently tonight even the teachers get freaked out. Yikes, this must be intense! EVEN the likes of Steve gets freaked out? The place must be crawling with spiders still. Tonight it appears that Steve will investigate with Susan and impart his knowledge one on one as he did with Chris (just before Chris was booted) The Steve and Susan investigation is from a deleted scene so who knows if any of that made it to the episode that will air. In the scene Susan professes a desire to hunt with the international team because she likes to travel, and presumably is also in favor of world peace…or was that whirled peas?
So, close your books, take out your pencils, and no copying off your classmate's paper…not that that would do anyone any good.

Revenant prophetically said on 12/10 in another GHA thread: "It makes more sense to me to bring in two contestants. In this manner, they come in as an established pair."
Hmmm…do I get bonus points?

Not only do you get bonus points, you don't need the shovel.
Then again we do get to mock them on GHI now.

It will be interesting to see if Susan and Karl show up in the first episode won't it? If they do….. that should prove very suspicious. With the timing of the filming of GHA, GHI should have had their episodes done and in the can before filming of GHA was completed. Guess that's where the "international" part of GHA comes in because last time I checked the East Coast, where all the episodes were filmed, is still in the U.S.
All I can say is thank goodness Jane is gone. The rest should be as well but I guess they needed a thread to continue the show along its way. I think we can all see that the guy from TN, unless he seriously screws up, will be going to GHI.
GHA appears to be the vehicle between GH and GHI to keep GHI and the franchise on the air. There's your drama and the intrigue of foreign places. Without GHA, which is being used as a life preserver, I believe we would be saying goodbye to GHI.
Yes Revenant, you do get bonus points!

Honesty, skepticism, professionalism, something, something. Steve at one time or another has blown most of those. Honesty…Jason asked Steve if Jane had turned it around and Steve said yes. What? She was starting to bawl like a calf when Steve talked to her about the tape not running for a full hour.
I found it odd that Jane, in her little sidebar slot, said she thought she had come a long way, etc. I laughed. Then, I started to wonder if perhaps it was just the scenes of her being the aforementioned bawler that were showcased. What of all the other footage, afterall, for all those episodes, what we see is really boiled down. Perhaps the producers picked and chose those moments.
Now, about all the wrong name calling…I wonder how much time these cadets have really spent together. I can think of at least 3 instances where someone was called by the wrong name. Do they really know each other? Do they really travel around in that RV? Or do they just stage a few shots in there?
So much for GHI. We've got Robb and maybe Barry left? Perhaps Dustin will return? Then we add these two in there and Oi!
Did anyone see the teachers get freaked out as per the previews? Did anyone see ANYBODY get freaked out?

To Learjet and Alicat: Thank you for the bonus points. I'll tell "Best Buy" to call you guys when I try to cash them in…

Concerning Jane's sidebar slot…yeah, I laughed too. I still maintain that she was a plant by Pilgrim and inserted solely for the purpose of drumming up a bit of drama. With that said, even though what we see is "really boiled down," it really doesn't matter. The outbursts and break-downs still happened and were shown for our amusement. If she was shown in a bad light…well, she placed herself in the bad light, essentially giving them exactly what they wanted.

Yes, I caught that too. You asked many valid questions and it would be very interesting to find out the answers. Interestingly enough, I am infamous for calling people by the wrong name. Typically, I do it on purpose. Sometimes I just want to see how they react. Other times, it's used as a "verbal body-check" to someone's self-importance. I would also do it with new employees. They didn't get called by their actual name until they had been there for a while and shown that they could do a decent job. In a weird way, it became a "rite of passage" to actually get called by their correct name. So were members of GHA doing something along these lines? I don't think so. But…it could be possible.

Rev,
Not sure how many points the Australian conversion would give you at Best Buy but the ones here on the East Coast would garner you at least an Energizer 2450 3-Volt Lithium Photo Battery, Model: ECR2450BP | SKU: 5867859! I wouldn't be planning on another large screen TV just yet.
As far as Jane goes, she's an actress and I'm seeing this as a part of her demo reel. Pretty pathetic but you do what you can.
I noticed the name calling as well. I'm sick of hearing all this "we're on the bus and working together really long hours" and hearing how they are friends off the show as well. I'm sorry, but it's just crap. They are supposedly working "together". If they can't remember something as simple as each other's names, how the heck are they supposed to remember evidence, etc.?
Oh and I can see you and I would get along perfectly in a work environment. You would be the one person I would ignore and just go about my work. I don't respond well to intimidation of any kind and I let my work speak for itself. I must admit though that I have be known to use what you call the "verbal body-check" on occasion to deflate an ego or two. lol

Don't know about the rest of you, but I didn't follow these episodes very carefully.
Six investigations in the most haunted places in America, where their instuctors have visited multiple times before … Did they ever find any usefull evidence ?

Yep, See my multiple comments regarding residual haunts.
Since residual ghosts don't interact with or even notice that the "hunters" exist, the experience of the hunter means nothing. Perhaps the Academy did not teach them the correct techniques for gathering evidence from the most haunted places ?
