This was posted o the Buffalo Central Terminal on October 4, 2009:
"Have you seen a Ghost Hunters Academy motor home around town this week? Well the secret is out! Film crews from the TV Show Ghost Hunters Academy, filmed an episode for the show at the Terminal this last week
Here's a report that has them going south in NC, about 100 miles from Wilmington, on Oct 8
http://www.wral.com/golo/blogpost/6164226/?start_from_id=6164492&d_comment_order=reverse
If they filmed "last week" so the tag of Wednesday in the episode would make that Sept 30 – couple of days for review and B reel has them finished in Buffalo on Oct 4-5 .
Takes them 3-4 days to drive to North Carolina ?
This link says they did their St Augustine Investigation "last week" and the Friday notation puts it Oct 18

Looks like Stango had a paid event on the 17th

Sorry Doc. Realize now you meant Wilmington, NC. Forgot about the U.S.S. North Carolina.
I think perhaps BD50 can chime in her on the Wilmington, NC since Steve and Tango were at that event in Charlotte. I think the GHA cadets may have been there during the investigations at the restaurant and another location. Perhaps they filmed the show around that time period.
Also, I remember there was an event at the Buffalo Central Terminal @ July 27th with GH/TAPS in attendance and the clip from the article above shows they filmed Ft. Mifflin just prior to September 1st and they were all at DragonCon in Atlanta @ September 4th. Who knows the "series" of events and how they were filmed. GH was also in Pensacola, FL. It is a tv show and yes, we are seeing an order to the series of events but I really don't put it past them to have filmed it and put it together in any order they wished.

As I mentioned, the problem with shuffling the episodes is that people come and go … unless the whole thing was scripted, you could not do a lot of changing the order. You would need to film the "replacements" doing some investigating at locations just in case you may need those clips in editing.

"GONSALVES: That’s funny. No, I showed up the first day on set when we filmed at Fort Mifflin, and they were like, “This is your RV.”
Makes it seem like they picked up the RV in Philly, which would make the whole Warwick intro faked later.

Ironically, I saw the same article. It's by a "friend" of GH/TAPS who is a freelance writer on the paranormal and lately about GH and GHA. I've seen GH members acknowledge Aaron Sagers on Twitter and following him as well. I don't remember what thread it was, but I posted another article he wrote on the GH/TAPS franchise. Here's the exact same article, this time posted on 12/3/09 on a different site.

A brief bio: "Aaron Sagers is a Manhattan-based columnist and entertainment journalist who writes weekly about all things pop-culture. He is also a paranormal pop culture expert and founder of http://www.paranormalpopculture.com."
Here's a link where there are at least two stories on GH.

Yes, I'm also a "paranormal pop culture expert." And so are most of you. Be sure to add that to your list of accomplishments on your next job app. .
And…if most of you are also paranormal pop culture experts…then that would make me an expert on paranormal pop culture experts as well. Sweet…

They were in Charlotte the first weekend in Nov.
Other than Susan I can't recall any of the other "cadets" at the crime scene.

Ok, so that leaves them two weeks between the shooting St. Augustine and showing up in Charlotte. Enough time to film the last investigation, shoot a "graduation" finale and drop the RV back in Warwick.
It appears that working the shooting schedule for GHA around the previously planned events gives some kind of sense to their wanderings.
