No comments or remarks on the GA community theater production this past Friday? Odd. I'm putting my money on Zak for an Emmy this year.

Ooops, missed it. Oh well, lol

I think the reason is that GA appears to have devolved to what is sometimes known as the MH-Level. Where a program just is so contrived and so bad that it's not worth watching. GA, to me, has joined the ranks of MH, PS, EP, etc. It's a combination of the antics and the personalities on the show that make it very hard for me to get through an episode. Puffed up Zak…Savior of the Universe Ryan…Yappy Yvette…

I'm still not there with GH/GHI, but they keep creeping steadily closer.

With GA being so over the top is what is so endearing about them. Hack!
Nos, you really need to catch this episode.
Zak dressed as a Civil War re-enactor, being attacked by Johnny Rebs, guns blazing, hand to hand combat.
The evps! Stupendous!

Who said Vaudeville is dead.

Oh boy! That does sound like it might have some merit! Perhaps if they just admitted defeat and moved this over to Comedy Central as a spoof on Paranormal Shows it might gain some traction lol

Please tell me he took an Enfield .577 at close range! :)

Just a flesh wound to the leg.
Still managed to do three, count 'em three lockdowns, in one night.

Era cues galore!

One thing did cause me some puzzlement.
They supposely had an evp from Jenny Wade, the only civilian killed during the battle.
Very loosely interpreted the evp said "I'm pregnant".
Now what I'm asking is, if she was killed and became a ghost, did the fetus become a ghost also?

They also caught an image on the thermal that looked like a human shape.  I believe they mentioned they were there during some special anniversary, so I’m thinking that would draw extra tourists.  So maybe it was just someone sneaking around at night.

Yeah, the show is over the top, but much more fun to watch than GH.

I have to admit, after watching the weirdness going on with DT and GH going full-bore with their nonsense, I found myself up in arms (no pun…himmm…ok, a little pun…) with GA.  And of course, that really isn't the point of GA.  I can't hold GA to the same standard.  I mean, holding GA to some sort of scientific standard is like expecting my dog to do calculus because she barked twice when I asked her what was 1+1 and waved a dog treat around.

So…I watched it again…and…I found that it fell flat for an opening show.  Sure, watching the three amigos running around in period piece clothing and playing war was funny…but it was already done by the PS crew last year.  And their investigation….did anyone see the "ball of energy/orb" that they were clamoring about?

But really…I'm hoping that the shenanigans pick up this week.  I have a feeling that I'm going to need a good laugh after this upcoming GH episode…

That " expert " at the end sure got a lot out of the evp " I'm pregnant "  claiming it sounds  like a young woman telling a secret . To me it was just noise like the rest of their evps that sounded nothing like what they claimed .

I looked for that "ball of energy/orb" and couldn't see it  .

Still haven't watched this, but I wish these shows would quit bringing in evidence that lame that has the potential to throw controversy onto historical events. That nonsense at the Mudd house with GH is another prime example.

There is no way in a million years that Jenny Wade said, "I am pregnant." This goes back to my earlier post about the Loretta Lynn house: there is simply no historical/sociological context for these interpetations! I WOULD LOVE to tag along with these guys (but they probably would kick me right out). The word 'pregnant' was NOT a proper word that polite people used. I mean, to put it in some context (for God's sake), in "I Love Lucy", when Lucy was pregnant, the episode title was, "Lucy is Enciente" (the French word was ok to use = go figure). So nearly 100 years later, the word 'pregnant' was still not ok to use in common, polite society.

Therefore, I feel really comfortable saying, there is no way in a million years, Jenny Wade said, "I'm pregnant." She probably never even knew the word!
