The GA crew is back in what is their first ever investigation of a ship. Even though the location is new, none of what these guys do is new and its back to the same old bland routine. We get another 30 minutes just dedicated to random things such as Zak hitting on various women who have had experiences, cracking his usual awkward jokes where your not really sure if hes joking or not, and we get them trying out some of the stuff on the ship. Seems more and more of these episodes is relying heavily on random things they feel like doing before starting the investigation.
We get our usual assortment of EVP's that really don't seem to be saying anything, yet Zak has us covered since he speaks the native language and can translate for those of us who can't understand ghost talk. One of the dumbest lines I have heard uttered by one of the crew happens in this episode. They decide to lay in various bunks in the sick ward and see what happens. They have all the cameras and lights off except for their static cam and their recorders which are taped to the rails. Nick claims that it has become so cold where he is at that he is seeing his own breath in front of him. First thing that hit me was how is he able to see his own breath when they have no light source at all?
The guys bring in a girl who is to act as bait for them. They decide to use the Franks Box. Since someone is with them they decide to show how long the elapsed time is between a response and it goes for 11 minutes at a time with no sound. Thats a first consdiering every where else they have gone they get a book spelled out for them over this device. The random scenes they show that is renactments of what some people described happening to them is so bad that I felt embarrased to even be watching them. One such example is this girl who claims she had her pony tail pulled. They cut to a scene of her standing and Zaks hand reaching and pulling it up and her doing this crazy freaked out face. Scenes like that make me not want to take anything like this seriously.
